“On the cliffs of aged trees and infinite thorns, we scour the unpredictable lands and its climates to attend the light breezed by the high sun” With the versatility of songwriting, Scour might be the most ambitious project that Caged Bastard has done, experimenting with drone, black metal, sludge, and electronics. Fuelled with passion towards the search of a wanted sound, drawn with frustration and anger towards the corruption of appreciation and discarding the rules and facing the inner-self, the result is 55 minutes of pure DIY extreme music creating a wall of noise that excels the scope and the vision of the artist. Lyrically, the album deals with struggling to find the light and how can someone takes advantage from fighting darkness. Multi challenges have faced the band like battling sickness, disgust of existence and enduring ignorance yet those challenges activated huge energy-generating the passion of creativity that will not stop until the final heartbeat.

"Straight Hate To God" is the new project by "Caged Bastard" which is an experience that has been in development for months. It may seem just an EP but it took a while for releasing tracks that are match able with the current state of the band and its environment that reflects the influences surrounding the main songwriter “Muhammad oun”. With the inclusion of new members to the band ("Mariam benjemaa": vocals/lyrics | "Lee Fisher" : Drums), the project has been a better collaboration within artists from different cultures but with the same spirit at the same time that is to make experimental extreme music.
