Everybody say: thank you @yeahsureroot for these gifts. She did a really good investigation to find this. My only request is, at least for the 40th anniversary, the studio releases the cut scenes.
youtube
Is there anyone around here who knows where this scene comes from? Can I find it somewhere? Because I can't find it anywhere, I've been looking for it for YEARS and I only have this gif, the script and this photo.
Is there any special edition of the movie, like, I don't know, the 30th anniversary that has it? I'M BEGGING.

Hi guys! I have written my first oneshot based on a Brittana headcanon that had been in my mind for a thousand years. Tell me what you think to see if I should keep writing some more. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed writing it 💛
Synopsis: Brittany has a surprise prepared for Santana during prom (season 2).
LIL' PROM
After finishing her duet with Mercedes, Santana had no reason to stay at the gym. It was the only commitment she had during prom, and it was already over. The gym was still packed with people having fun and enjoying every second. But that wasn't the case for her.
It had been a bad night for her, the whole idea of going with Karofsky as a cover... When did she come up with that nonsense? She would have enjoyed it much more even if she had gone alone... or with Brittany. Just the mention of that name sent a shiver down her spine and formed a half-smile on her face.
What would have happened if she had gone to prom with Britt? Would she have enjoyed it more, or would it have been worse? Everything that had happened with Kurt... the laughter, the "jokes," the looks. She wouldn't have been able to handle it. But the way everything had ultimately turned out so well for him? Santana admired Kurt for that. She wished she could be like him someday.
Now that she was thinking about Brittany, where was she? Santana hadn't seen her for a while. And it was strange, Britt always make herself noticed wherever she went. That was what Santana liked most about her. Her lifestyle, her energy, and her optimism to enjoy the little things every day. Brittany had infected her a little with that way of being this past year, and Santana loved it.
"What if she's tired of me?" Santana thought. "What if she's tired of my ups and downs? I told her I would go to prom with her and then I show up with Karofsky. What if she went home with Artie? I saw them dancing together during 'Dancing Queen'... I'm so stupid." A bunch of questions and insults to herself began to accumulate in her head. Tears were welling up in her eyes. She hated herself. She hated everything about herself at that moment.
"Here you are!" A sweet voice pulled her out of her state of anxiety. "I've been looking for you for a while." It was the girl she had been thinking about for several minutes... well, minutes... or months. Santana turned to see her properly.
"Oh, Britt! I didn't see you." Santana said, trying to sound as natural as possible and avoiding the lump in her throat to be noticed. But the blonde knew her too well.
"What are you doing here alone in a corner?" Brittany asked worriedly. "Are you okay? Do you need water or something?" She kept looking in all directions, ready to stop the party if necessary.
"Yes, yes, don't worry. I'm fine." Santana lied. "It's just that I got a little overwhelmed with so many people and so much noise." she lied again. She didn't want to make a scene; she didn't want to ruin Brittany's night.
"Okay." Brittany responded, not entirely believing that excuse. After a few seconds, Britt reached out and grabbed Santana's hand tightly. "Come on, come with me. Let's get out of here, I've prepared something for you."
Before Santana could ask anything, Brittany guided her through the crowd to one of the side exits of the gym, not letting go of her hand. Santana's heart almost stopped.
In a matter of seconds, they were outside, and all the noise inside turned into a murmur.
After walking through a couple of hallways, Santana found her voice again. "Where are we supposed to be going?" she asked nervously. She was grateful to the entire universe that Brittany was ahead of her. Her face must have been the color of her dress.
She asked the question just to break the silence because in reality, she knew exactly where Brittany was leading her. Santana knew that path too well. They had walked it together for years after finishing their rehearsals with the Cheerios.
Santana was right. Britt stopped right in front of the gym's locker room door.
"I don't understand, what are we doing here?" Santana asked, still nervous.
"I know tonight has been a difficult night for you," Brittany began to say. "I know that because it has been difficult for me too. I tried to have fun with this random people, but I just wanted... I wanted to be with you. It hasn't been the same."
"Britt, I'm sorry, I-" Santana began to say, feeling terrible for Brittany, but she didn't let her continue.
"Santana, please, let me finish. I've been thinking all night about what to say to you and I need to let it out," Brittany pleaded. Santana nodded and let her continue. "I know this," she gestured to herself and Santana, "is difficult for you to accept. I know that when you want to do one thing, you end up doing something completely different out of fear. And I don't want you to feel that fear, I want to help you. I don't want you to miss out on moments in your life because of fear. I don't want you to miss out on important moments in our silly teenage lives like tonight. Everyone deserves to live the life they want to live. And I want to help you start doing that, if you'll let me..." Brittany didn't take her eyes off Santana for a second. She wanted Santana to know that everything she was saying was true. She continued speaking, "That's why I've prepared this surprise for you."
"What do you mean? What surprise?" Santana's furrowed brow was mixed with a shy smile. She couldn't believe anything she was hearing.
"Okay, it's a surprise for you... but also for me, but especially for you." Brittany hesitated. Santana loved it when she got this nervous. It was then that Brittany broke their hand-holding for the first time since they leave the gym to open the door they were standing next to.
Brittany opened the door to the locker room. Santana knew this room like the back of her hand; she could walk through it with her eyes closed if she wanted. But this time, there was something different.
Dozens of colorful streamers decorated the room, along with balloons on the floor and a small banner hanging from one locker to another that read "LIL' PROM." Candles illuminated the room with an orange glow.
"I know it's pretty cheesy, but it's the only thing I had time to prep-" Brittany nervously began to say, but Santana stopped her with a hug. She hugged her for what felt like at least 5 minutes, but for her, she could have hugged her for hours.
When Santana broke the hug, tears were streaming down her cheeks, but this time they were tears of happiness.
"You prepared all of this for me? For us?" Santana asked, incredulous. She still couldn't believe everything that was happening.
"Yes, that's what I was telling you. I want you to at least enjoy a little bit of prom with me... if you want, of course," Brittany said with a nervous smile on her face.
"Britt, I... I don't know what to say. I don't deserve this. I don't deserve you," Santana began. Brittany tried to stop her, but Santana continued. "I've been a jerk. I should have at least told you about my fears and my plan with Karofsky. I shouldn't have done what I did, it was terrible. I made you feel really bad."
"Well, a little more communication would have been good for me. If you had told me, I would have understood your feelings perfectly." Brittany pointed out. Santana felt even worse for her.
"I'm so sorry, Britt. I really am sorry. I'm such a-" Santana wanted to continue the sentence with some insult she had been saying to herself so much lately, but Brittany didn't let her continue.
"Santana, that's enough. What's done is done. Don't beat yourself up anymore. I understand, it's difficult, but we'll get through it together, you'll see," Brittany emphasized in that sweet tone that only she has. "Now let's enjoy the little time we have left. Here, just you and me, without any looks, without 'jokes,' without laughter. Just you and me alone, okay?" She looked at Santana with narrowed eyes, waiting for a response.
Santana smiled, took Brittany's hand again, and together they entered their little bubble of happiness. Santana noticed that Brittany had moved the benches between the lockers during her "Lil' prom" preparations so they could have more space.
"Is this our dance floor?" Santana asked with a laugh. "I love it, it's where we met. But we're missing the music."
"Oh, yes, you're right! Wait." Brittany rummaged inside her dress, right in her cleavage. She pulled out a small remote control. Santana hadn't noticed the small speaker next to the wall. Brittany pressed one of its buttons and "One and Only" by Adele started playing.
"You're the most amazing person in the world, Britt," Santana smiled nervously.
The song had already started and almost without realizing it, they were dancing in unison, hands on each other's waist and neck, their foreheads touching.
"God only knows why it's taken me
so long to let my doubts go.
You're the only one that I want."
"I promise I'm going to work on myself. On us." Santana slowly said what she had wanted to tell the girl in her arms for a long time.
"I don't know why I'm scared.
I've been here before.
Every feeling, every word.
I've imagined it all."
"I just need a little time. But I promise that from now on, the nonsense of 'no communication' between us is over. I want to have you by my side. I want to be with you." Santana's words had been weighing on her shoulders for a long time, but she had finally let them out. And it felt great.
"I dare you to let me be your, your one and only.
I promise I'm worthy
to hold in your arms.
So come on and give me the chance
to prove I am the one who can walk that mile
until the end starts."
Brittany placed her lips on Santana's forehead and pulled her even closer. "You know I love you, right? It's important to me that you know that," Brittany insisted.
It was at that precise moment when Santana let herself go completely. She started crying (happily) and hugged Brittany tightly without stopping their slow dance. "I know, you don't even need to tell me, I can see it," Santana said. "I love you too, Britt. So much." and she kissed her. She kissed her with so much desire and strength that she completely forgot where they were.
"Will I ever know how it feels to hold you close.
And have you tell me
'Whichever road I choose, you'll go?'"
The song continued until the end, but they didn't break their embrace for a moment. More slow songs or maybe some pop or even rock continued to play. Neither of them was listening anymore. For the next 20 minutes, they lived in that small space they had created between them. There was nothing and no one else.

Okay i'll do it
I have a LOT of Brittana headcans that can be turned into at least one-shots. I've had them for years and years but I don't know if anyone would read them or if it would be stupid to write them down. Most of them are about gaps in the script of their plots.
Tell me what you guys think.
