There are many places of interest to visit in and around Darjeeling and we offer a range of sightseeing tours. To make the most of your time we suggest you book your sight-seeing trips in advance with us. In Darjeeling during the high season taxis are in very high demand and it can often be very difficult and time-consuming to find a decent car at a price you want to pay! By booking in advance with us you will be assured of a good quality, well maintained car, with a courteous driver who will be knowledgeable about the local attractions: again you will not be rushed along by an impatient driver looking for his next customers.

We provide transfer service from all the major points of arrival for Darjeeling in a Xylo, Innova or Mahendra Scorpio (luxury cars). We strongly recommend that you book your transfer with us in advance for several reasons. To avoid the hassle of negotiating with taxi touts who will be harassing you for your business as soon as you step out of the airport / station / border town on the first day of your holiday. The car you book will be reserved for you – you will not be expected to share with other guests. Whilst independent taxis will drop you to one of the two Darjeeling taxi stands, our courteous driver will be there to meet you with your name on a placard, and of course he will bring you to the door of the hotel.

We like to think of the Rooftop Lounge as our guests’ personal conservatory in the mountains.
