She nodded without hesitation, an embarrassed laugh escaping soon after. “I think he was the only guy I every had my eyes on, and then I begun to lose interest after that incident. I was too embarrassed.” She admitted whilst shaking her head.Perhaps it was the lack of time she spend outside of the training room and school, but It was true that she only crushed on one guy before and never even got close to dating anyone. Like every other girl her age she also dreamed of certain romantic moments, but in reality she couldn’t see herself fulfilling those dreams any time soon. “I never liked anyone apart from him so I’m not sure. But it think if I know he likes me too I wouldn’t mind making the first move.” She said in thought. “Did something like this ever happen to you?”   

“Ah, that’s understandable.. I’ve had a few crushes during my school years, and I remember those times quite fondly.. Heol. I was the type to scribble my crush’s name at the back of my notebooks? That kind.” She lets out a breathy giggle at the memory of her middle school years back in Osaka. To someone like her, it felt so long ago- almost like a lifetime ago. But she really was the type to glorify crushes, being the affectionate type that she was. “Well, so much for romantic moments.. Dating bans are a pain. But work is number one for us right now, I suppose.” She wriggles her brows, her dimple underneath her lips showing when she smiled wide. “Something like that happened, but mine was quite embarrassing, to be honest ah- Are you sure you’re ready to hear my embarrassing story, unnie~?”

サナ ─ Sana looks back at him with an amused smile, brows raising slightly. At first, she was doubting if she had heard him right. After all, why would he be saying those words to her? “E-eh?” She paused, tilting her head to the side a bit as she tried her hardest not to smile all the more- finding the situation peculiar. “Did I hear correctly? I could’ve sworn I heard a marriage proposal from you, sunbaenim.” The female looks at him, a slightly confused expression on her face. “Okay, I’ll marry you.. But you have to wait ten more years or so.. Is that ok?” A slight chuckle follows as Sana crosses her arms over her chest.

She bit down on her inner cheek in order to prevent her laughter after seeing the other’s reaction. Of course Jisoo had already expected this sort of reaction, however the younger girl’s eagerness never failed to surprise her. She shook herhead to her question. “No, he didn’t exactly reject… but he looked at me as if I suddenly grew 10 heads or something, and then I never made the first move.” She sighed at the memory. “It’s been 6 years but that’s the most amount of action I’ve ever gotten.I don’t even know what happened to that guy afterwards.He just disappeared.”  

It was always fun to her- to hear about stories of the past. Stories that seemed so far from the present time, yet so close that you could still make out small details. Jisoo’s story caused her to laugh under her breath, shaking her head along with it. “That can really make you question your every move after..” Given, she only had a little bit of experience in the dating realm, “So do you think you’d ever do the first move ever again though? Like.. maybe in the near future, perhaps? What if you really like the boy, unnie? Won’t that make you change.. I hear developing true feelings for someone can change old habits.”

“Do we really have to?” Sana asks, whining her words out as if she was back to being five years old. “Why can’t we just.. I don’t know, do normal things?! You think of the weirdest things to do, really.” She says, looking up at the tall crane that holds the cart, “We’re really going to do bungee jumping, huh Park Sooyoung? Aren’t you supposed to be afraid of heights or something like that?!” Another inquiry ensued, as Sana’s thoughts went haywire at the mere thought of jumping off of such a high place.

Undivided focus falling on the younger girl, Taeyeon’s dark orbs followed every move while patiently expecting the answer whose arrival brought a subtle smile to her pale complexion. Busying herself with her own mug, she raised it to her lips and took a cautious sip to avoid any accidents that might ruin the fair mood, she hid her growing joy behind its rim, still listening to Sana intently as her self-explanatory praises continued to come. 

“Ah, right. Tae mentioned how shy you were before, when it came to me, but I don’t think you should’ve. I mean… it’s me. Taeyeon. Seeing me now, here, being as lame as I can be… doesn’t it make your anxiety seem useless?” clear chuckle parted her lips as the mug landed back on the table’s surface and her shoulders aimed high as she shrugged. “Hm, yes. I think… when I was a trainee and even before that, BoA unnie was charting, she became the trend. And I was very much crushing on her, as an idol. She had been and still is my role model. Which is weird because now, thanks to her, SNSD is where it is. I mean… I am able to call her unnie and not sunbaenim. You have no idea how excited I was when I first met her. Me and the other girls too. Ah…” her gaze drifted slightly, away from the feminine frame of her companion as her mind was occupied by momentary flashbacks. 

The other’s question causes her to laugh heartily, shaking her head a little so as to answer her question. “Aniii, if anything I admire you all the more now seeing that you’re not afraid to show who you are. It gives me inspiration. Like, I tell myself ‘Sana, you can be weird like your sunbaenim too’.” She snorts, her nose scrunching at her own joke. “No but seriously, I still often find myself getting starstruck, especially with you and SNSD in general.”

As Taeyeon began to talk about her experience in meeting her idol growing up, the other picks at her Banana nut muffin, chewing away while she focuses on the other. “Ahhhh, BoA sunbaenim truly is a legend. Isn't it crazy though? From you saying and experiencing those things to now, people are talking about you in the same way.. It’s really crazy how time flies.” She beams, never in her wildest of dreams did she think she’d be sitting right across from her. Before, her view would just be among the audience of a sold out show in Kyocera dome in Osaka, and now here they are. “Unniiiiee~ Tell me about your comeback preparations, too! Is everything going well? I keep getting killed every single day when the new teasers come out! Aiiish~”

サナ ─ Sana hugs her from behind when she hears her words, not minding the fact that the other female was busy moving around their kitchen trying to whip something up for her. “Aniya, it’s okay… I’ll be okay `kasan..” She mumbles, letting out a sigh of relief. Truth be told, she found comfort knowing that she had friends like her, who would support her every step of the way and be there in both her good times and bad. “Nothing time won’t cure, right?” Her reassuring words follow, pulling away so she can finally let her do what Sooyoung originally wanted to do. “Heooool, is my mother actually cooking for me today? You know you lured me into this hang out with food, right? I hope you didn’t forget that because I came here with an empty stomach.” She says matter-of-factly, clutching onto her belly a little as it growled just in time.
