Luxurious Periods!

There was a Friend of mine ❤ Yeah #SHE was the topper! She was that #10CGPA girl! We all looked at her and said- "Yr iski life Kya Sahi hai, No Stress, No problem! That's why she can study so well.. " She always got 100% attendance certificate. And I was completely Opposite of her. No Study No Attendance.. I was very average student. But many a times I noticed that something wasn't going right with her. Her beautiful dark skin but with lots of Discomfort. But I never asked her. Man to bohot tha puchne ka, "Are you ok? kuch problem hai kya? " but I didn't. One day she came up to me and asked- Yar koi way Bata de.. How do I convince my Mom to let me use #SanitaryNapkins. And I was shocked 😐 she said further, I belong to a rich but yet very old mentality Family. My mom says - Tume padha rhe hai na, Fee bhr rhe hai, That's it! "Ladki jaat hokar bhi Itna sab Mil raha hai, Bht kismat wali ho tum" .. I was completely shocked! I thought for a while she was kidding me. But that #DISCOMFORT on her face! Proved it all. I asked her, What do you do in your periods then? And she said:- "I use Clothes and I've to wash them even sometimes in the #SCHOOL TIME because of heavy Bleeding!" I asked :- is it comfortable? She says :- No! I get many #CUTS in my pelvic region. Bhot bar skin bhi Chil jati hai. 💔 i asked :- Why don't you stay at home for 3-4 days? She said :- "I don't wanna #LOOSE. I want to fight and want to #STUDY. I want to make a good #CAREER for myself and want to #EDUCATE other girls who face the same problem." She said - I find a way in #Books to escape from this world. The world full of problems. Where being women is nothing but a #Suffering. But I'll change this world. And she went away saying - Teri life kya Sahi hai yr. You don't have to suffer like me. This was 2years back! And Now is the day when I realized, Actually being woman is a #Suffering for many of the girls who can't Afford #SanitaryNapkins Or #Tampons. Who can't go to school because of their Periods! Thousands of girls suffer from Ovarian Cancer because of No Hygiene. Here #CONDOMS are #TAXFREE but #SanitaryNapkins have 12% GST. Yeah because Bleeding is our LUXURY. Right?
