i like to imagine that the rest of the gods on olympus were all watching ody turn poseidon into swiss cheese, with a variety of emotions throughout them.

zeus: *impressed but slightly very worried* maybe i let him cook for too long on that island.

zeus: oh well rather poseidon than me

hera: *mainly nonchalant but hiding a tiny smile behind her chalice*

hera: *after hearing next to my wife* that is what you call a man who loves his wife *side eyes zeus*

zeus: *sweats*

hephaestus: *kind of impressed* well he avenged his crew *shrugs*

ares: *in awe* athena didn't lie about the bloodshed!

ares: *hears poseidon beg for mercy* *odysseus doesn't give him that*

I’m writing this in the middle of the night omg

COPPERS LORE/ADVENTURES PART 2!! I was meant to write this a good while ago and completely forgot lmao anywayssss:

After the whole war with Chronicle, getting cursed, gaining powers from the gods, trauma, trauma and so on, Copper is called on less than a year later by the most powerful goddess of the world, Ayla (Coppers still 13) (they both hate eachother btw)

Ayla sends Copper on a quest to help rid a village of a curse that was set on it by a powerful sorcerer. The Goddess only told her to get rid of the curse by gathering 5 artefact’s that would help defeat the sorcerer. Copper got to the village and started searching for said artefacts. She ended up stumbling across a witch who actually helps Copper control her own curse and shows the powers it truly has (note that she has only had her curse a couple of months at this stage)

Copper continued the search afterwards and finds each artefact one after another being guarded by monsters. She kills the monsters and then heads to the sorcerer to end all of this.

As she is about to finish off the sorcerer he reveals what the curse on the village actually does, it gives humans the appearance and mindset of monsters. Meaning that the 5 monsters she killed were actually innocent people. With that Copper kills the sorcerer in one final stab and with it the curse around the town shatters. But the village folk don’t remember the curse, all they ‘know’ is that: this so called ‘hero’ has came into their village and murdered 5 innocent people. Copper tries to explain it to them but they won’t listen, threatening her that if she were to ever return to the village they would kill her on sight.

As Copper is walking back home the souls of the 5 follow, haunting and taunting her every thought. Even they don’t remember the curse that was laid upon the village, and they don’t plan to leave their ‘murderer’ alone in peace anytime soon.

Copper curses out to the goddess who spared no information on what the curse really was. If she had known they were innocent people she would have never killed them, she would’ve found another way.

(The fight with the sorcerer is also where she gets the scars on her left arm, that boy had claws)

Soooo yeah needless to say Copper ain’t having a fun time whoopsiessss-

Decided to write/draw down coppers biggest/ most damaging scars. A lot are kinda self explanatory on how she got em. The two sword slashes and face scar are from her first fight against Chronicle and the others are from two other adventures.(the only reason she survived the lightning was cuz the god Fern has given her a bit of extra electricity proof-ness (wordssss mhmm))

Whenever Cooper either severely uses the powers of her curse, gets overwhelmed by something extreme causing her emotions and head to spiral, etc it causes her curse to spread through her body. She has a lot of control over it, but whenever it spreads to this extreme length it may take a little more to calm down and get the curse under control tho

Realised I never posted this. This is a painting on a canvas I did a good while back now and it’s meant to be a tree on top a cliff over looking a peaceful lake in Coppers world. She always goes to sit there whenever she wants to relax or get some peace and quiet
