Her story at the moment:

While she is on Horde side she very much is still open to talking to both sides. Seeing as she saw the Alliance come to help her city as well. She did have a nasty run in with some guards from the Alliance, she not letting that keep her from talking to them.

Right now she is traveling around this new world trying to grow in it. Realizing that this world is very different from her own and she is loving every minute of it. She is being cared for by a family guard seeing as they aren’t happy she left home in the middle of her training to be a lady.

Sands to Snow.

week 4

“ My travels began once I had finished my job out in the hot sand of Gadgetzan was over. What felt like months out there was little more then a few weeks. I can’t say I didn’t enjoy it, a little. The beaches where immaculate, if you stayed away from the pirates that is. A few I had to put in their place, it felt like every time I would just get some nice shade near the water. It was like one rambler after another asking for gold, trying to shoo them away did nothing until you let a fire ring out from your pistol. It was like a murder of ravens fluttering off.

Then the heat, it was so nice to final feel the sun again, and then the colds of the night when the moon would rise high. The stars like glitter...it made me think of home..Made me miss it just a bit. I think the best part was that they were really moving out there. To see real stars twinkle! Maybe the burden of sand worth it.

Oh the sand that will never leave. I am still finding sand in my boots, and I changed boots since leaving. It like I am forever covered in sand.” Even Shalli rolled her eyes to the words she wrote knowing well that will soon pass. Moving back she dipped her pen in the blue ink, drawing more to write on.

“ Now I travel up to winterspring, they tell me the snow is just as beautiful and deadly as the sands. To quote that the snow looks like waves of diamonds. It will take me some time to get there as it is on the other side of the world from here. Yet I am excited to see it, and to try the clothing they have. I know that up there if they say its going to be cold...well these old leather straps will just not do. Mail might be the next for of wear for me. We shall see how the diamond of winterspring shall do.”

Closing her book she placed it away starting to head to the camel that would take her to the boat heading up. It was a bit of a trip to it, but one she didn’t mind seeing one more time. 

The duns felt like they stretched for miles if you looked at it right but since being there Shalli had grown use to the directions, not as well as others but enough to get her to the boat. It wasn’t soon after she had crosses a dune or so that a crunch came from under her camel. The sound came after a flash of light shoot up at her. Confusing the camel making it rear up before jolting off, this of course flung her off. With a thud Shalli landed in the sand, a sigh coming from her lips as she knew this would be another week of sand in her boots.

There beside her though was a odd device, sticking out from the dune. A small glass bulb broken and a few crinkled edges but for the most part the item was well intact. “ what is this?” asking the blood elf who retrieved the camel for her. “Silly lady that is a camera, it takes pictures that you can then develop to show later. Though I say it looks like that one has seen better days. Now my Lady we should be riding, that boat won’t wait forever.” He huffed moving to help her back on the camel.

 “ Well then, I will take it, maybe I can get some use out of it.” Shalli remarked before they continued their way to the boat. All the way she was fiddling with the camera trying to get it to work once more.

“ WE have made it to the boat, and while I don’t understand the reason this camera doesn’t work. I am happy to get it repaired. One of the goblin’s said there is a man in Winterspring that could help with that. While we are traveling though I will do what I can. I wonder if the film they say is inside it hold the owners face? Until I reach Winterspring log end.”

Tear stained the page as I struggled to write from the inn I had found myself. A few bruises on my face, most of all the one on my eye stung the most. The innkeeper trying her best as she clomped around to make me feel safe inside the tent. It was like my eyes had been open... open to the new war I now was apart of. I hated it, I didn't choose this war but here I was in the middle of it.

Week 2

“ I was just trying to get around...why did they attack me? I was trying to go to my next area of work when the Alliance...I thought they where my friends..I thought they would look past the symbol on my ta-bard.. Yet when they saw me I was ganged up on, each one taking a swing at me. It wasn’t until my cat came attacking that they final let me go. I was able to escape into the red wood forest, taking the longer way to get to this camp...I kind of wish I never left the inn with the nice house that I was renting..”

Looking up from her writing the Innkeeper had left the ten filled with food and drink. Shalliara sighed then moved to eat and drink by the tent door looking up at the sky once more. The start where brighter here, even tho the trees did their best to hide most. Shal wasn’t going to stay here long, the want to leave was calling here even now.

“ Maybe I will go to that other stop the one the goblins talked about, that was near the blue waters and warm sand. Gadgetzan, is what they called it...Its a odd name but they are odd people so it make me understand their naming.”

With that she closed the book eating ma little bit more before breaking rations out of the rest of it. Slipping into bed she would fall asleep still holding tight to the pillow as her cat came over the rest with her.

Northern Barrens

Week one

It’s been the first week since I left home, at first I was scared, and worried that the world I was walking into wouldn’t be like the one I lived in for so long. Yet as I sit here in the small port town of Ratchet. I have grown fond of this new word, the freedom behind it. What made me laugh even more was the thought coming in my mind, of staying here. Working the tavern here, using that to pay for this small room I am renting.

I will have to think about it more, I know there is more to this world I want to see. So many more books to read. I hear there are hidden libraries around the world, the stories I hear from those who come into the tavern. From the people I have come in contact with while traveling the road out here. It just makes me wonder what is on the other land the port makes contact with. It’s the only thing keeping me from staying here.

We will have to see.
