Hello!!! My name is Shade; I'm 20 years old and I recently have made the decision to volunteer for 3 weeks, in June 2014; at the African country that has been really firm in my heart - Ghana! For the past 3 years I have wanted to volunteer overseas, in a place where education is vital and yet is limited, without enough resources to support the students. There are less fortunate people that can do with all the help they can get; I personally love to help in any way that I can, so I have decided to go myself and physically help the children! During this time I plan to teach the Local children Maths and Art. I took on this volunteering opportunity through an organisation called 'Original Volunteers' I am really glad to have come across such a great organisation who gives the opportunity for volunteers to go out and help at a reasonable price. I hope to receive funding through this site; every little really helps and goes towards the flight, my accommodation, teaching equipment's, and daily journeys to school. I am very thankful to all who support, not just by giving but also sharing and forwarding this page to others. I understand there are a lot of demands all over, but anything is welcome, feel free to help in any way you can, it’s all very much appreciated!
