We sell our happiness for free every single day, never spreading our sorrows because we were taught that what you share would bring you judgment.

We all share happy pictures, holidays and videos clubbing or at different parties.

Do we share the moments in between that tho?

When you cry in the club’s bathroom, when you’re on the ground because you got inebriated just to forget whatever harshness of life you have encountered, you hide your sadness in drinks, drugs and behind Instagram filters.

We share beautiful lies in a world full of depression and suffering. Looking at life through pink coloured lenses is getting harder and harder when they start breaking.. and maybe, just maybe, it’s for the best…

This is for the one who always saw the reality in the world around us, the one person that accepted it and struggled to deal with it each day of their life, the one that made me accept the world as it is, cold and full of injustice.

That’s the beauty of life, and they taught me that better than any teacher, tutor or guidance counsellor ever has. ‘Through suffering we achieve redemption and with redemption comes freedom.’

I will love life as it is and it’s all thanks to you.
