Oh _lovely_. Everyone go turn this off:
Enhanced Visual Search in Photos allows you to search for photos using landmarks or points of interest. Your device privately matches places in your photos to a global index Apple maintains on our servers. We apply homomorphic encryption and differential privacy, and use an OHTTP relay that hides [your] IP address. This prevents Apple from learning about the information in your photos. You can turn off Enhanced Visual Search at any time on your iOS or iPadOS device by going to Settings > Apps > Photos. On Mac, open Photos and go to Settings > General.

On my hands and knees begging adults to allow children to engage in risk play.
And by risk play I don't mean handing them a gun and playing Russian Roulette.
I mean like climbing trees, getting so sick spinning on the swing they throw up, balancing on the curb, sitting in the mud, walking on slippery surfaces, building half ass ramps to ride their bike over, standing on rocks, or anything that involves a smidgen of confidence and out of the box thinking that could result in injury.
Obviously like watch your kids and such, but when we talk about the fun of being an 80s or 90s kid, it's not just talking about CDs and Walkmans or not having iPads. It's about how kids today were robbed of critical learning and experience skills we were allowed to have.
Playgrounds disappearing, helicopter parents, and sue culture really destroyed a child's development in the United States, and I think it's about time we as adults recognize that, because the kids sure have.

"RökFlöte", the most recent Jethro Tull album is very different from the rest. Possibly the heaviest album in the discography, and it loosely follows Norse mythology, although not technically a concept album. It's also possibly the most flute heavy JT album ever, so all in all it's actually quite a solid and fresh release from a band that has been going for over 50 years.
Starting off my Jethro Tull discography deep dive with their debut "This Was".
It immediately sounds like Jethro Tull.
If you've never listened to Jethro Tull, it's rock music with a flute. And they do that right out the gate.
Some tracks are bluesy, some folksy, some a secret third thing, but it's immediately recognizable and unique.
Now if Ian Anderson would stop moaning during his flute solos...

"The Zealot Gene", Jethro Tull's first album in nearly 20 years, and their first of all-original material since "J-Tull Dot Com", is very much a sort of musical retrospective of the band's history. It has tracks that are reminiscent of their 70s folk-prog sound, while some are more synth heavy and 80s-oriented, and still others reference their late 80s and 90s hard rock style. It's also the first album since 1968 without guitarist Martin Barre, who was not asked to return to the revived Jethro Tull after the band initially dissolved in 2014.

Can someone tell me
if there are any named female characters in Tolkien who are friends with each other? I haven't read the Silmarillion in full, so I don't know. The only friendship I can think of is Haleth and her gang of Amazon bodyguards, which is great, but Haleth is the only one named.
Are there any female characters who have close relationships at all, on any near a par with the male relationships we see in Middle Earth? Sisters, mothers and daughters, anything?
