Just to give a little roundup: it’s a animated fantasy series set in a Mesoamerican/pre-contact Central & South America inspired world. It’s pretty good, not 100% to my tastes at all times…

EXCEPT FOR THE MAIN ROMANCE BECAUSE OHHHHH MAN WAS THAT GOOD SHIT

The show is ONLY 9 episodes but we hit all the good stuff:

Antagonist Dark Youth falls head-over-heels for Protagonist Girl Before They’re Ever On the Same Side

Her desperately wanting to trust him but being too scared to, him understanding

They have a big sword fight that’s really just them flirting

And that’s all NON-SPOILER STUFF, which I’ll (maybe) make a post of later.
