hehehehhh oh oh I don’t really read smut but I liked the description of scars and wounds <3 well-written and the parts I read were nice!

I’m probably writing about my blorbos my little guys that I can’t get out of my head BUT I think. For “bleeding out” I’ll probably write a drabble about Nishiki accidentally shooting Kiryu and he has to help him (with blood-slicked fingers!) while Nishiki tries to save him. Heh.

and “I did good, right?” for yakuza kiwami stuff. Maybe Nishiki survives the blast for a little while and he’s delirious and it’s like they’re young again ♥️

FEBUWHUMP 2025 PROMPT LIST

this year's prompts were chosen through an open suggestion poll (in which we received over 4,000 prompts) and a subsequent vote, where 5,019 votes were submitted. the top 28 make up the core prompts, and the febuwhump mod's favourites that remain have become the alternates. the first prompt in the 28, "vocal chords", was our number one prompt of the vote, with 1,625 total votes.

i am so insanely excited to see what you all create with these prompts, and i hope they're inspiring enough to trigger a whole month's worth of creativity for you!

as an extra added challenge, some creators will be undertaking another, smaller goal, of including apples in each of their prompt fills as an ode to the wildly popular prompt suggestion of "apples" that didn't make it through to the poll. this is totally optional, but is a good extra challenge if you'd like to take part in it!

it feels like they just wrote the Sumire part in to have a reason to go against the guy tbh because they give no other explanation.

Literally all of the problems on the Maruki side could’ve been fixed by joker saying “ok I’ll join you but let me help” that’s it. I wouldn’t leave shiho to suffer what she did if we can change that. Like dang. if my family got killed i would take yaldabaoth’s world even, and so would society in canon. Akechi killed a bunch of people and he’s against reviving them, which I don’t get. Imagine a bunch of teens deciding that they want to be the only ones with MIND CONTROL POWERS and then beating up a guy who actually meant well. Maruki tries to kill himself in the game by the way. Why do they treat murderers better than the misguided therapist? We never got to punch Kamoshida and he forced himself on a teenager.

When Joker “changes his heart” Maruki acts almost the exact same. This should be telling. Atlus wrote themselves into a corner tbh.

The worst part about P5R is that Erebus from Persona 3 wouldn’t exist because in Maruki’s world nobody would want to die. Certain Persona 3 characters could’ve lived and Nyx wouldn’t be a problem. I’ve never hated Joker more for both that and for leaving Rumi in a catatonic state. That’s awful.

Propaganda why Joker is insufferable:

"I want to play a self-insert who is a normal guy. I don't want to play a self-insert who is super skilled in everything he tries, incredibly intelligent, unnaturally strong and agile, world famous, makes everyone's lives better by breathing in their direction, is necessary for anything to happen in the story and the world at large, never has a serious disagreement with a non-villain, and makes every woman he can interact with fall in love with him. like omg shut up"

"He’s not insufferable in the base game, really. He’s so hypocritical in Royal, it’s maddening. It’s the like writers and the protagonists are always on his side. There’s this guy in Royal—Maruki Takuto—who gives up his fiancée (so she can have a happy life by not remembering him and her interconnected debilitating trauma) in order to make everyone in the world happy. By changing reality itself so that everyone has a good ending. Sure, the way he goes about it is questionable, but he just needs some help. He gets punched in the face for his troubles. LITERALLY. The other villains in this game are actual criminals/murderers/downright VILE people. but only Maruki gets treated terribly for the crime of *checks paper* doing the EXACT SAME THING as the protagonists but more.

It’s like Joker and everyone else wants to be the /only ones/ who get to choose whose hearts to change. There’s no actual reason for them not to take Maruki’s side, even in canon. It feels like a mix of “I don’t want a stinky ADULT controlling everything” and “but but we won’t be as close without all the trauma and messed up things that happened to us!” Lady, your friend was so distraught that she jumped off a rooftop and you’re choosing to let that happen??

You can even say that society in the game was miserable. Miserable enough for them to want a false god controlling them just a few months prior, so most people would actually agree with Maruki. Maruki’s plan LITERALLY revived people who were dead, and it’s not fake or a dream. He’s genuinely a good person but Joker and his squad don’t want to be happy? Or something?? So they take away everyone else’s happiness because of their own pride.

I got so upset at Joker that I chose the “bad ending” and shelved the game for a year."

Propaganda why Quentin Coldwater is insufferable:

"Quentin is the epitome of self important, entitled young men who think it's okay for their actions to have consequences for other people because he's smarter than them. He's constantly letting his friends (especially the female characters!) take the brunt of his bad decisions (end of the first book, I'm looking at you.) Every time something he does comes back to bite home he goes all "surprised Pikachu face". And he's nowhere near as smart as he thinks he is. Ugh."

"I hated this man so much I stopped reading an otherwise engaging book. I don't even remember all the reasons I just found him so infuriating that my hate for him survived multiple years."

hey. you're doing great :) I think that blorbo of yours should be shot in an alleyway with no one around, terrified and alone, and forced to struggle back to their home base trailing blood along the concrete behind them, and collapse in a shocked caretaker's arms, though. that's just my opinion. keep thrivin :)

Thinking about the leader being sick or stealthily poisoned/drugged and deteriorating during an important op. Everybody looking to them for the plan and getting confused/frantic as they're making less and less sense by the minute, possibly at risk of giving conflicting orders or making too much noise or blowing their cover or just straight up passing out and leaving the second-in-command to scramble and compensate, especially if it was a "We only have one shot to do this" sort of deal
