do something nice for yourself today, ideally MORE than one thing, but at least one.

it can be as small as making a cup of tea with a flavor you like or taking a second to sip on your coffee, really pay attention to how it tastes and the feeling of the warm cup in your hands.

take an extra break at work. take it in the bathroom if you have to, but give yourself that extra time. deep breaths.

get a little snack. something that you might not normally allow yourself.

Got tickets for our hometown Louisville KY! They're playing in the largest stadium in town, KFC Yum Center (named after Yum Brands who owns KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and a few other restaurants) it has a capacity of 17,500 for end stage concerts. Gonna be a great time!

LTL (Louder than Life Festival) 2024 SO yea, wasn't planning on going this yr, but husband shows up to a local radio station remote Fri and one of the radio personalities there that we're friends with says, 'Here ya go' and hands him two VIP passes for today (Sat) Now mind you, Fri got washed out due to the remnants of Hurricane Helene, Falling in Reverse couldn't make it to the festival so Till here (who was supposed to play Fri) ends up taking the Sat slot FIR was supposed to have. As someone who hasn't seen Rammstein before, to say I was NOT prepared for Till's voice in person at ALL would be a minor understatement. @vveissesfleisch this post is for you :)

This is our little spider friend, showed up on our porch a few nights ago. It's been stupid hot the last few days, just happened to look outside tonight and caught them building their web for the night. Beautiful.
