Personal headcanon is that Bull is still part of the inquisition even though they are married and they see each others whenever they can. Sometimes that means years apart. Bull hitched a ride with Morrigan and the Inquisitor through the Eluvians to make this happen.

He stays for a while helping with the Antaam issue and then they part ways again. Just until next time though, there is always that promise.

He is way older than Dorian so the ten years gap between DAI and DATV is showing more decisevely on him and maybe he walks with a cane now and doesn't fight (as much) anymore.

Josephine learned long ago that appearances could be deceiving, that all is not always as it seems. It seems a rather obvious lesson to learn, not only for a bard, or for anyone dealing with any kind of social, political machinations.

Yet, it is something she is constantly proving a lesson to others on. She has learned to take advantage of all underestimations of her, that the repetition of this over and over is something that she can and does use to her benefit, but it still gives her pause.

The Iron Bull is different; he has never underestimated her.

actually that ao3 post about calculating kudos-to-hits ratios to decide if a fic is worth reading has me so pissed off. someone put real time and energy into something they are SHARING WITH YOU FOR FREE on a site where you can quite literally filter and search by anything you want and you're STILL trying to find a foolproof method to find stuff that's "good enough to read"???

YOU ARE NOT THE TARGET AUDIENCE FOR EVERYTHING

you don't have to like or read everything in a given fandom or tag, but you also don't have to be a cunt about it and imply that it's not worth reading. this is the kind of shit that moves people to stop creating altogether, and to see people agreeing in the tags is so disheartening. absolutely unserious behavior.
