Imagine an AU of Vallen being a villain, he's still a rich CEO, everyone admires him—being loved by the public eye, especially because of his charisma, etc. But behind that image, he was just a villain (I don't have anything in mind what villain he would be), he was a manipulator. Twisting those with his lovely words.

And reader is Vallen's old assistant (the CEO side) and boyfriend, but the day he knows he was a villain, he quit his job and broke up with Vallen. And now became a detective (if you allow to add Callaghan in this to spice things up), wanting to debunk everything of Vallen. Vallen knew about this but he lets reader have his fun.

Because Vallen has his own tricks up his sleeves.
