First actual post yay!!!

Hi everyone, i never use this blog to post, but i have changed my mind, and i have to much on my mind i NEED to unload somewhere!! Okay I KNOW that Elliot "hating his job" and being "grumpy" is mischaracterization, he isn't like that at all BUT LOOK. HEAR ME THE FUCK OUT!!!!! it would make more sense if he wasn’t like that since the start, right? But it was rather a slow progression into becoming that way We have to remember the NATURE of the Forsaken realm, the games, the specters goals. It's all to BREAK these people! Mentally and physically. But we can tell which one the specter priorities more, which one brings them more entertainment. Back to our lil pizza delivery boy: when he was first teleported here he was still the joyous employee he always was, trying to help his team, giving them support and encouragement, always on the chase to heal his felloe teammates. he enjoyed his role at first, like he always did, becoming so proud of himself for his little fast food gig to be life saving. But with time....he began to change.

He was targeted more frequently, seen as a bigger threat than fucking sentinels. he become more easily frustrated with people dying right after having healed them or them missing his pizza (yes i hc it to be an in universe thing.) he began to dread every waking day, every time he has to play another round. running after people became so exhausting, so dull...he hated it all, and soon it began to reflect in his attitude. All the joy he had from his job, one he found so much pride in, so much joy was all sucked out. His pizzas used to be made with so much love and care put into them, he'd willingly burn his hands just to get it done with. He'll deliver them to the best of his ability But now he no longer cares, he hastily makes them, they've become more mediocre than ever. As long as they get the job done, why should he bother? he's numb to everyone’s suffering, waiting for the day he can finally return home and never wake up again.

and that's my two cents! yay I could give my own take on how i see 007n7 and elliot too but idk if this'll even REACH anyone ok

what're your thoughts on how Mia and Edgeworth would've gotten along if they had the chance to develop a friendship? I think they have so much potential lmfao but I don't see anything about them anywhere

SO REAL. Like the only time we really see them directly interact is 3-4, and Edgeworth is an ASSHOLE. they both supposedly had a perfect record up until Turnabout Sisters so they didn't go against each other in court again. I think it depends a little on how much you think Mia knew about wright and Edgeworth, tho 1-1 implies she doesn't know or at least wright hasn't told her (I reckon she picked up on wright's reaction when his name was mentioned, so she figured there might have been something going on between them, basically she figured it out but was playing dumb in 1-1 to try and get phoenix to open up about it, especially seeing as she was going to have to open up about spirit channeling because he was gonna meet Maya, maybe even talk about DL-6. Maybe that's why she was prompting him to bring it up in the first place). She would've known all about DL-6 so I get the idea that she knew and had leniency to why Edgeworth was "like that", tho I don't think they would've really ever gotten along with Manfred and DL-6 looming over them. They definitely still had some kind of mutual respect, especially after what happened in 3-4.

Hear me out on this one: maybe Edgeworth took up Mia's Murder case because of his mutual respect for her, although this kinda contradicts him trying to help Redd White when he's clearly guilty. Edgeworth was not exactly rational at the time maybe it was his own fucked up way of finding justice for her, which he had difficulty accepting was his motive.

Edgeworth looking back on Mia after her death would be soooo interesting. He only had one trial against her and he called her a bimbo and told her to jump off a bridge lol, he would deeply regret so much about their brief interactions and how poorly he handled them, especially with how much Mia was impacted by DL-6 like him. They had so much in common yet he never got to really connect with her and worst of all he tried to get her murderer let off.

I think I might have said this before but if I had to make one change to 3-5 it would be having Edgeworth finding Pearl on day one before the trial and then Pearl channeling Mia to help Edgeworth be an attorney. Seeing them interact JUST AFTER playing 3-4 and specifically Miles having grown to value and respect her would have been genuinely perfect. That's not even to mention seeing Edgeworth having to confront spirit channeling in action. (we do get Edgeworth's thoughts on Mia if we show him her profile in the second investigation tho, which is nice (Mia's profile is genuinely my equivalent of the attorney's badge considering how I instantly showed it to everyone I came across, (Luke Atmey is a creep btw, not sure that's news) except Jean Armstrong who I forgot.... Wait I just checked the transcripts on the wiki, what the fuck did he mean by this?)

In conclusion I think they always did have some kind of mutual respect, even if it took Edgeworth a while to really realize it, and if they got a chance they would've gotten along really well. I wish we got to see Edgeworth directly interact with Mia all the times she was channeled, or at least acknowledge her existence. again having them work together in 3-5 would have been the perfect place to explore this, but idk maybe Capcom will make a spinoff with Edgeworth and Maya in the 7 year gap ang we get another chance.
