So i’m just watching youtube, trying to chill out and whenever, when I get a Lego Movie 2 Ad for a video I was watching

do you see that timestamp at the bottom? Yeah, this is apparently 5 hours long.

And at first I was wondering, well is it the entire movie? No…this entire ad is for their newest “everything is awesome” type song. It is called “this song is gonna get stuck inside your head” and I am pretty goddamn sure it is going to repeat that one line over and over until my brain melts

So I am going to see if they really are playing it for 5 hours

idk why but i absolutely hate AI generated images of wizards more than any other AI pictures.

i think it's because the sparse pickings of beautifully rendered oil painting tableaus of wizards from the late 20th century (for things like game manuals and fantasy novels) feel like they actually are made of magic to me.

to see those familiar shapes choked and twisted out of the chaotic mess of predicative digital brush strokes is like watching a dying pig's face transform into the face of my weeping mother before it stops moving forever.

A large part of housecat vocalisation toward humans isn’t goal-directed communication, but rather, affiliative signaling: a simple call-and-response protocol which establishes that the participants are part of the same social unit. Amongst themselves, most housecat affiliative signaling is non-vocal, but humans aren’t really physiologically equipped to respond to such signalling in a feline fashion, and cats, well, they’re adaptable.

Which is to say that when your cat yells, and you yell back, so the cat yells again, and so forth, what you’re really saying to each other is “hiiiiii~”.

I love what we've seen of your concepts for your rewrite thus far! If it isn't a triggering subject, could we politely ask for your headcanons any scars the daemos may have? Maybe how injuries and treatments work too, if that applies and/or if you'd like to! No pressure of course, and thank you in advance!

I only have like, scar map requiring headcanons for Noi and Pierce! But I’ll explain everyone!

I like to think Pierce uses his drape to cover his most recent scars, he doesn’t like them being visible. Scars from battles long ago.

He’s ALSO got a cracked horn, which he’d rather perish than tell anyone. A cracked horn is dangerous for two reasons:

Thankfully it’s only a small crack, and I imagine Ava would help him bandage it one day.

and Noi!

Noi has far more scars, mostly from scraps while he lived in the forest. He was actually powerful, but he didn’t really win very many fights against the wildlife of daemos. His antlers have a slight velvet, which makes them heal much easier than most’s horns. His vein scars are hard to notice so I don’t add them in art

And now for the rest!!!

Rhys has a few from when he was experimenting with magic under Lady Grandma, but he wears big sleeves to cover them. Thankfully, they healed rather fast.

Leif has a slash on his ankle, from a scrap with his former boss. They never got along.

Asch more so has bruises than scars. He’s missing a fang tho.
