Milton had opened the town’s first fire station. For a while, he and his son Levi lived at the employee rooms, but selling fire alarms and educating the townspeople on fire safety is not a viable way of making money. Milton had no other option but to go back to his businessman’s job in Portvale to make ends meet. Once he gathered enough simoleons, he and Levi moved into a more comfortable home. He also had time to meet new people, including his coworker Amanda Carlson. Although they are just friends officially, they also flirted a little here and there and they were starting to think of themselves as a couple. Levi threw himself into dating, but not with a lot of luck. At first he dated and got his first kiss from Orlando Centowski, but that relationship seemed to fizzle out. However, he became good friends with Chandler Platz. Initially Chandler was not open to Levi’s advances, but one day at the abandoned barn, after blowing some bubbles together, he gave in to Levi’s flirting, and let him kiss him. All of these feelings came out of the blue for him, especially as he dated Brianna Baxter before, so he would like to take things slow with Levi. Levi, on the other hand, was already thinking of making out with three different sims...

Roberts

Milton Roberts never planned to have a family. But nine months after a particularly wild night, he ended up with a newborn son on his doorstep that he continues to raise. Will Milton be able to fulfill his calling as a volunteer fireman, and will Levi find a gay community he longs for?

Martin gladly assumed the position of theacher, as he realised the growing town’s teens and kids needed more education than what homeschooling could offer. However, he had his hand full with raising the toddlers, and also keeping an exe on her teen daughter. The family struggled with raising the toddlers and making enough money to get by. Martin and MacKenzie were constantly on the verge of breaking down. After the school was built, Martin got a job in the education career, but was fired due to low performance. Luckily he could get his job back once the twins aged up to be toddlers. MacKenzie had to pull her weight, too. Between school and taking care of her siblings, she literally had no time for anything, including homework.

When his wife Ashley left their family for more lucrative business opportunities in Sim City, Martin Peterson moved with his teen daughter MacKenzie and toddler twins Aurora and Walker to Sequoia Grove to start a new life.

Horn

Christy Stratton and Leo Wilkie got married. Stacey worked on her skills for her promotion to mayor. Imogen got into private school, but her mind was now firmly on the paranormal, and showed little compassion for others, too – she had a want to make Adam Baxter a zombie...

Baxter

Aidan and Brianna grew up to adults and moved out. The family adopted a dog, Bubba. Ethan grew up to be a teen. Fiona had really horrible grades, although her hobby is science and she has a real interest in school, but with the help of Daphne, she managed to work thoruogh her pile of homework and get slightly better grades.

At the end of the fall round, Connor grew up to be an adult. His birthday party turned into a tragedy though, as Adam died right after Connor blew out his candles! This left the family heartbroken.

ROUND 3 - Fall

Introduction of 5-day rounds. Introduction of ROS at the beginning of rounds (after the second round for the family). 3 new families arrived to town. The Town Hall was built.

Horn

Since she was always closer to her dad, Imogen was devastated about his death. She was fixated on resurrecting her dad, and this quest raised her interest in everything paranormal. This might have contributed to her knowledge aspiration. Her budding friendship with two of the Baxter boys, Aidan and Connor, helped her surviving these difficult times.

Times were also hard for Stacey in widowhood. Joe haunted his family day and night. She felt stuck with a daughter she did not know very well and had not a lot of interest in. She also felt way too young to be a widow, but at the same time, worried that her time was running out. She tried to rekindle her romance with Brandon Lillard from her younger days, but as a romance sim, Brandon had not shown a lot of interest in a committed relationship, and frankly, neither was Stacey. Her carreer was soaring, though, and as she turned into an elder, she was elected as the mayor of Sequoia Grove.

During this time, the only person she could rely on was her long-time coworker, Christy Stratton.

Christy have and Stacey been working alongside half their lives, and developed a kind of friendship along the way. There were times when Stacey felt this friendship was a bit suffocating for her, when she had a family at home and Stacey came home with her after work every single day, but really, apart from being a little clingy and passive-agressive, Christy was a kind soul and a really devoted friend. After Joe’s death, and Brandon’s lack of commitment, Stacey felt Christy was the person she could rely on, so it seemed like a good idea to ask her to move in with them. And after a night of drinking too much redcurrant cordial, it also seemed like a good idea to explore territories yet unknown to her in the bedroom with her best friend, too.

It was exciting to suddenly be in a lesbian relationship, however, Stacey was not in love. She strived for an open relationship, and continued dating Brandon, too. Chisty, however, after realising a lifetime of latent attraction, was already planning their lives as a couple. So when she saw Stacey and Brandon making out, she had a breakdown. As an immature way of acting out against the suffocating relationship with Christy, Stacey asked Brandon to move in, which he agreed to. Their friendship with Christy was never the same afterwards, and Christy started to consider moving out.

Meanwhile, as she grew into a teen, Imogen has become caught up in a love triangle with the two eldest Baxter boys. She has always been more attracted to Connor, even though he was a few years younger with him. As soon as he aged up to a teen, they started going steady. However, as Connor became preoccupied with making money and blowing bubbles, she gave in to the more mature, kind and family loving, albeit somewhat boring Aidan, and started dating him.

As the new town grew, a bar, farmer’s market and a diner was built. To address the Graham family’s haunting issues, a cemetery was also established.

Baxter

The Baxters’ fortunes turned at last. The farm turned profitale as Adam learnt the ways of caring for his crops, built a greenhouse and was able to grow more types of plants. The twins aged into children and the number of sleepless nights decreased. Baby fever hit Adam again, and Daphne joined the family, followed by Ethan. Kaylynn was not super stoked about this, as she was starting to feel she was regaining her indipendence from childcare a bit, nevertheless she did her duty as a wife. Aidan and Brianna also helped a lot with their younger siblings. Connor, on the other hand, was always very independent and a little selfish.

But, as Adam turned into an elder and their three eldest children were already teens, Kaylynn saw that it was her last chance to have one last baby before she grew too old, too. The last addition to the family was Fiona.

Horn

Like the Baxter family, her early days were littered with failure. Living in a tiny starter home on the limited income her painting supplied, with no community lots in the town to speak of, she could not continue with the party lifestlye she was used to. She even struggled to maintain a large group of friends. Her dating life bordered on catastrophy as well. She tried to cure her loneliness by adopting a siamese cat, Princess.

Stacey had to take stock of her life, and start to make adult decisions, and that’s what she did. She decided to abandon her plan of living off of her painting, and took a job in the politics career. She never particularly wanted children, either, but after a risky woohoo with her lover, Joe Graham, she discovered she was pregnant. Being the responsible type, Joe proposed, and despite being unsure she wanted a family, and having doubts because of the large age difference, she ended up agreeing. They got married just before the birth of their daughter, Imogen.

Joe ended up being a wonderful, caring dad to their daughter, while Stacey moved up the ladder in her job. Joe contributed to family finances by giving financial advice online. Just as Imogen grew into a child and the family moved into a bigger home, Joe reached the end of his life and passed away from old age.

Stacey Horn has always considered herself a city girl. But after realising she could not afford living in Portvale, this party girl hopped on the bus and arrived to the new settlement of Sequoia Grove.

Baxter

Sequoia Grove was founded by Adam Baxter.

Shortly after he arrived, a bus station was built, making sure other settlers can travel to town.

Adam soon met Kaylynn Spitzig. As they were both family sims, they married quickly. The family farm struggled intitially, as Adam had no adequate knowledge on growing crops. Their home only had the bare necessities, too. Although they both wanted a large family, they struggled to get pregnant for a while. But after some months of frustration, they succeeded, and twins Aidan and Brianna were born.

Caring for a farm and twin babies drained their energies. Maybe it was due to their chronic tiredness, or maybe it was fate, but the twins were still babies when they concieved again, and their third child, Connor was born. Their tiredness took a level yet unknown having to take care of twin toddlers and a newborn. They even considered abandoning their plans for having a huge family. Adam had to take a loan from a Portvale bank to afford a farmhouse large enough to accommodate his family.

Adam moved out of Portvale to this unknown territory after he got tired of his job as a programmer, and wanted to become a farmer. He has always wanted a large family, too, and looked for a suitable place to raise kids.
