Here's an idea to ruin Megami's reputation forever.

This method can also be used to match her with her suitor, but the player must lose for this to happen. Okay let me explain it :

One day, all the students headed to their classes before the lesson began, except for Megami, who noticed that Ayano was carrying a knife. She did not hesitate to follow her.

Ayano led Megami to the radio room, and as soon as Megami entered, the door was slammed shut behind her from the outside.

Megami turned around to understand what just happened, Ayano took the opportunity to stab Megami in the neck. But Megami dodged Ayano's knife, and a physical quarrel began between them.

Even though Ayano gave all her strength and energy, Megami was the victor, inflicting blows on Ayano that covered her face and body with bruises.

But what Megami did not notice was that the school radio was on before they entered, and that all the students in the classes could hear a strange noise, and that everyone could hear the dialogue between the two girls.

Ayano had changed her expression from rage to fear and shed tears, "Please don't kill me, Megami…"

"What?!"

“I won't tell anyone that you're connected to the deaths of all those girls... and I don't want Taro anymore... you can have him for yourself...”

"What are you talking about?!"

The students were in shock, Ayano cried loudly every time Megami tried to respond so they could barely hear Megami's surprised tone.

The heroic students rushed to the radio room to rescue Ayano, with Senpai at the forefront. Senpai opened the door to see Megami holding a knife in one hand, pulling the hair of poor, weak Ayano in her other hand. As expected, Senpai accused Megami of a lot.

I can imagine Ayano running to Senpai and hugging him and saying, "Senpai! Please protect me from this VULGAR CREATURE !"

Megami desperately tried to defend herself, but the police arrived after they received a call from some students, and arrested Megami.

Is her reputation ruined forever now? Depends, is Kaga still in school or has Ayano gotten rid of him?

If she got rid of him...

Even if Megami hired a lawyer, even if she didn't go to jail, she would not be welcome at Akademi and no one would trust her, because she is the yandere girl in their eyes.

If she didn't...

I can't help but imagine a scene where Kaga walks into court with his tablet, looking his best because this is his "big day" and his "golden opportunity." He insists that he has proof of Megami's innocence, and presents a clip filmed by his tiny flying cameras showing what really happened. In the end, Megami is proven innocent, and Ayano is arrested for investigation.

...And on a more emotional note, perhaps her icy heart might melt seeing her guardian angel saving her from false accusations, and she would want to get to know him better and invite him to dinner with her family.

You can imagine the rest because she would be in love with him.

osana going on and on about how her stalker didn’t actually love her and was just obsessed with her to ayano’s face is hilarious especially because it’s osana and she’s not saying ‘he thought he loved me but he was willing to do awful stuff to get my attention!’ she’s deadass ripping him (and ayano) a new one like ‘ew! what a freak! i can’t imagine being so obsessed with someone after meeting them for the first time. what a weirdo am i right yan-chan?’ like girl….

I have this headcanon where the science club has mice for experiments, one day, the mice manage to escape from the cage and spread throughout the school.

They ate the garden club's plants.

They also ate the food in the cooking club.

They spilled the art club's paint.

They gnawed the strings of the light music club's instruments.

They interrupted the activities of the drama club.

They also frightened many students and teachers.

After all the mice were caught, a penalty was applied to the science club, and the club was closed for a week, with no funding for two months.

you know what would make the pacifist routes more interesting?

is we see ayano slowly but surely breaking the curse that she's under, or just having it be completely unbearable until she snaps.

like, a pacifist route would be possible, but to think that the more nice and kind things the player does the more pain ayano goes into because the curse needs to have blood spilled.

imagine if one of the endings to the pacifist routes is ayano losing her mind and accidentally killing taro because she couldn't hold back the need to kill any longer.

like, she was happy for a short while but everything came crumbling down all at once.

in the other ending, the curse would be broken. but, you'd have to kill other students (not the rivals) to make sure the curse doesn't end up ruining ayano's life.

The more I think about it the more the interpretation of Ayano being Asexual (and/or Aromantic but I'm not too familiar with it) makes sense

Idk her saying she feels empty and not like a normal person or whatever kinda reminds me of the LGBT experience of not understanding yourself and such. I only briefly identified as asexual and looking back I think it's because I had a very rough time with my own sexuality and stuff but that empty feeling of not being normal was still there

And then let's take what her mother does her mother telling her that it's okay because she's going to meet a Boy™ and it's gonna be better. (I'm not sure if she still talks about a boy or if now it's just person)

It's that thing that parents do where they tell you that one day you're going to meet someone and they're going to fix it and make it all better but that means you have to meet someone someday, it's that but it's properly villainized

There's argument that Ayano isn't an actual yandere because she doesn't actually love senpai (okay ig platonic yandere don't exist? Lol) but I think it's a case of her feelings being so complex and years of years of pretty much being groomed with the idea that one day that empty feeling will go away because of the right person that she herself doesn't even know her feelings

For all we know, she does feel some sort of way to Senpai, but because of her upbringing she doesn't even get a chance to know if these feelings are just a simple crush, platonic, or what

Anyways my point was I feel like asexual Ayano is valid af and tbh asexual yandere sound interesting to me

Yandere Dev added a new menu to help understand the mechanics of eliminations.

So it seems we have our first confirmed gay couple in YanSim: 1980s Mode' Study-kun A and B! They got into a relationship post graduation, it seems.

I actually heard about it in a discord server a while ago lol, but I guess it is the first canon gay couple in Yandere Simulator! And that's ASIDE from the lesbian couple confirmed for the game's full release. Love to see it! I think running a community like this has kinda helped YandereDev break out of the heteronormativity that Western society and anime ingrains into us and he knows how important representation is. Sure, they're kind of in the background and we don't actually see them interact romantically in-game, but it's a good first step!

One way I think to improve the socialize mechanic would be “student memory” and “student sass”

Student memory would be when you say the exact same sentence to a student every single day “Hey, Hozumi Takeda! I like Gardening. Do you like it to?” And after repeating that same sentence to them again the next day the student would say something along the lines of “Umm, you already told me that Ryoba-chan...” Then lowering your reputation for being a broken music box and repeating your previous statement from the day prior

Student sass would be when telling the student something obvious “Hey, Aika Iseri! I like cooking. Do you like it to?” To which she would reply “Umm, isn’t it obvious we both like Cooking? We are in the Cooking Club together…” which would then lower your reputation for being an airhead and stating the obvious

I don’t know how good this could actually be but wouldn’t you get mad if the exact same girl told you the exact same sentence every day? I know I would get annoyed
