hot take: to all the printer artists out there, y’all need to give credit where credit is due, ESPECIALLY IF YOU USED FANART AS A REFERENCE. personally i believe there is a difference between “printing” from official manga panels and fanart. if you are “printing” from someone else’s fanart, you need to credit them. if you’re not crediting the original artist, you’re essentially just stealing their art, passing it off as your own, and just plain leeching off of another artist’s creativity. the artist who originally drew the fan art is the one who came up with the idea and actually executed it. you’re just reaping the fruits of their labour.

pressed bc i came across this printer artist on my fyp who printed a kaiser fanart and not a single credit to the original artist was anywhere 😭 the tiktok also decently blew up too (around 300k likes)
