"Looks like I’m back as of now. " The vampire flashes his pearly whites before placing a cigarette between his pair. “How’s everything with you..uh. Remind me what your name was again?”

Startled, Sehun was truly dumbfounded by the male’s disposition towards him as if all the time spent together meant absolutely nothing. Past conversations suddenly igniting the metaphorical light bulb in his mind that would explain Kyungsoo’s lack of memory, but it doesn’t help to ease the pain he still feels. Instead, he forces a smile towards the shorter male, wanting to hide the disappointment he felt. “Sehun, and I’ve been okay. Everything’s alright.” The boy bites back any more words, not wanting to add any unnecessary and vapid details when he isn’t even sure if he was in a position to. It was silly of him to think that he’d remain a memory to the person he once loved, but maybe things were better this way. At least he could start fresh.

“I don’t know how much validity there are to your words anymore. You said that last time and you disappeared again.”
