Again, he was rendered absolutely speechless; he'd had her pegged as the shy, easily stepped on type. Her outburst had startled him, that was for sure. For a moment, he stared at her, before finally letting out a long, pained sigh, scratching the back of his neck almost bashfully. Dammit, what was up with this girl?

"Alright, alright, I get it, long ears," Sighing yet again, he grabbed hold of her hand and tugged her towards the dance floor, keeping his eyes firmly fixed on anywhere that wasn't her. He wasn't going to feel guiltier about ruining her evening than he already did. "We'll dance together, you happy yet? Man, what a pain in the ass..." He didn't really understand why she was so set on this, considering the way he kept bullying her, but if it would shut her up, then he could deal with it. "... I'm not great at waltzing or whatever, but I'll try."

"…Oh." Should of seen that one coming. And she could feel the tears threatening to overflow….but she bit down on her lip. A little too hard since she had winced shortly there after, but that was really not the point! Narie was having a grand time tonight, even if she hadn’t done much this evening. She was not going to let this caterpillar ruin it or attempt to ruin it any further. 

Her brows knit together, puffing out her chest, “I’m not a-an idiot…! Y-Your the…jerk…who keeps t-tricking me!” She huffed shakily. “A-And t-today is my day off. Y-You have no r-reason to bully m-me or r-ruin my g-good time…so are you going to buck up and d-dance w-with me or not?” Narie looked a bit winded there for a moment, but she recovered. It certainly took a lot of her! “…Please, that is…”

Hold on, that... That wasn't what he expected. He was expecting a panicked reaction. and yet here she was, accepting his offer. That was just too sad. 

"... You're serious," Maybe he was just a little bit too surprised to even answer properly, or take advantage of the situation. "Man, you really are an idiot, huh? I was just gonna embarrass you in front of everyone, y'know."

And she had leaned back. This was already becoming a routine. But she still kept an open mind! Or…trying to at least. That grin certainly wasn’t helping. But this was a ball! And she quite enjoyed dressing up and being able to dance, so she nodded.

"Well…I-I see no harm i-in that…!" She croaked, "I-If you’re actually…asking me to d-dance that is!! Then…I accept…"
