Dating Connor Would Include

Can you do a ‘Dating Connor (Detroit Become Human) would Include’?

A/N: Welp, this turned out really long because I just love Connor a lot and I thought of a lot of things. Hope you enjoy! :3

“Hello, my name’s Connor. I’m the android sent by Cyberlife” 

Ever since you met, you got along with him

He was just… nice, and adapted to your personality

Even if many times he didn’t understand things you said

When you were joking or using colloquial sayings 

He gets sarcasm and other things, but other times he’s confused

Earning you a little head tilt from him, which is pretty cute

Every now and then he gets on your nerves, he can be so oblivious!

Human emotions are complex, and Connor is confused by them also

So you get frustrated when he doesn’t get you sometimes

You quickly grew fond of him, though, how can you not? 

And Connor grew fond of you too!

You notice by his little gestures

How he always asks how your day has gone

Or how he’s always smiling at you

You used to think it was part of his programming

Just a tool to integrate amongst humans

But he kind of treated you in a special way

Ever since you told him you liked when he tilted his head, he did it more

As in, do it more often than usual when he grew aware of it

He’s also always very thoughtful of you, having you in considersation

And this is all before he became a deviant

Connor began to do things uncommon in androids

Or at the very least, uncommon in him

Like asking you to stay with him because ‘your presence is pleasant’

Or having very human gestures like giving you his jacket when you’re cold

You basically became good friends, but when he went deviant…

None of you imagined you would end up dating

Hank teases you both a lot about it too

And talking about Hank, Connor goes to him for advice a lot

Whenever he wants to know something about relationships

You help Connor get used to his deviancy, to his feelings

And remind him that he’s free now, to think for himself

There’s lot of affection, at first really small

He’s not used to it, to… touching you and being so close!

He gets a bit flustered at times and kind of freezes

But he eases into it and you’re very patient

You just want him to figure himself out too

So you help him get used to his deviancy as much as you can

Even if it can be challenging because he has a lot of things to learn

Connor tries for you, though, initiating kisses and hugs

“I learned that such affectionate gestures are common amongst couples”

It’s heartwarming, but you tell him that he doesn’t have to force himself

And it’s very sweet that he alway ask for permission first

Never wants to make you uncomfortable

At first there was a lot of cuddling (you both love it!)

And then some hand holding

Eventually you started kissing, little by little, step by step

Even if Connor is a bit awkward and clumsy at it

He does love hugs, though, from the very start

Just the feeling of holding you in his arms, keeping you close?

He knows the feeling it gives him must be happiness

Connor flirting is… interesting

Like it’s equally adorable, hot and clumsy all at the same time

You can help but to chuckle when he winks at you

He’s always looking out for you, making sure you’re okay

That you remember to drink enough water

That you eat and rest well and everything

He just wants you to be okay, healthy and happy

Connor abstains from scanning you, though, he knows it’s invasive

A good thing about him (of many) is that he doesn’t get tired or strained

So he can carry stuff for you if they’re too heavy

And you know he’ll be sweet enough to carry your groceries and stuff

He’ll also carry you if you’re too tired or get sick

And he also doesn’t get sick, so he’ll take care of you

Even if he might worry a lot because it’s the first time it happened

Like you’re sick and he’s freaking out and doesn’t know what to do

So he looks up information on his data base

He’s very delicate with you when it comes to physical contact

It all started because one time he hugged you too tight

And you had to remind him that you needed to breathe

So Connor tries to remember about his android strength

He doesn’t want to hurt you!

You two are super close in general

Know each other really well and can immediately tell if something is wrong

And you will go out of your way to comfort and cheer the other up

Connor is also very protective of you

He won’t let anything or anyone hurt you, he’s ready to sacrifice himself

Anything to ensure your safety and wellbeing, he cares a lot

He might be a deviant, but he still has a mission

Make sure you’re safe and happy at all times
