All About Them Nails
While working in our fabulous office last week, us girls had a conversation about the ridiculousness that is the over top nail art that is a trend right now, so I thought I would give you the DOs and DONTs of these intricate designs.
DONT: have extremely long nails. If the length your acrylics have to be longer than your actual fingers to fit the design, its too much. Don't be THAT girl. NO ONE likes THAT girl.
DO: use a crap ton of colors, especially for summer. Your nail design should make a statement.
DONT: have so much attached bling that it gets in the way of you living your life, like getting caught on things. That is just obnoxious.
DO: vary the designs on each nail. switch it up, keep it interesting.
DONT: have claws. Rihanna & Lady Gaga are cool, but trying to do human things like shaking hands, typing, and picking your nose with pointed nails is really inconvenient and frankly dangerous.
DO: pick a theme. Themed nails are interesting and a fun way to celebrate holidays, like the 4th of July!
DONT: everrrrrrrr get acrylics on your toes. that is just disgusting. no one wants to see that. under NO circumstance is it appropriate. EVER.
Follow these rules and you will never go wrong! Break them and you will have a disaster on your hands. Literally. And also maybe on your feet. You might also lose your self respecting friends. Cheers.

Awesome, inspired, slick, chic, effortless, easygoing, supah cool.
We'd prefer those words describe us but it's more fitting for on-trend brand L.A. + JO. Their Summer 2012 line adds a new twist to basic pieces. T-shirts now have contrasting leather chest pockets, while long sleeves are embedded with leather elbow panels. These ornaments come in delicious colors that'll surely pack a punch on a decidedly easygoing summer attire.
Other notable pieces are the L.A. + JO jeans that are as chromatic as a bag of Skittles: blinding whites, deep blue, cherry red and, of course, the requisite blue denim. And did we mention the leather jackets that made our eyes go gaga? The Italian leather is distressed and antiqued, so there's no need to break it in.
