and here comes yet another book recommendation

 Isola by Isabel Abedi

so the protagonist of this book is the 17 year old Vera who won some sort of casting and therefore participates in a project on a Brazilian island where she and a bunch of other teenagers then live isolated under camera observation (sounds pretty big brother like but it goes more into the thriller genre actually)

It is a pretty cool read, and really thrilling, couldn´t put it out of hand.

Isabel Abedi wrote a bunch of pretty good books but I like Isola and also Lucian the best I think...

okay so there is one thing a les mis fan and especially a e/R shipper has to be aware of: GEORGE BLAGDEN

He is the actor who plays Grantaire in the movie and omg he is the captain of the ship, like seriously, nobody will ever ship Enjolras and Grantaire harder than George Blagden.

So this is a video he posted months after the movie and I´ll just say: not many shippers can say that the actor playing one half of their OTP rewrote a song so it would fit the ship...

It had so much more depth to it than I was expecting, and THE ACTING, like anne hathaway WOW and also the girl who played eponine, I feel like her name is Samantha? She was incredible in that solo in the rain, and eddie redmayne was amazing when he was singing empty chairs at empty tables :'( it was amazing, I want to build a barricade or something right now and sing about it and NOO BUT THEY ALL DIED but it was so good ahh I have such mixed feelings right now

Yes Anne Hathaway was amazing

and yes the actress´ name is Samatha Barks and she also played Eponine in the 25th anniversary of the stage musical

and the actors are all so amazing omg like I could write you an entire essay about how much I love the cast

and YES i KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN it is this conflict between breaking into song, overthrowing the government and breaking down into tears in the corner…..or all at once

AND THEN WE COME TO THE MATTER OF ENJOLRAS AND GRANTAIRE because HOLY NO that was the worst because it seemed like Grantaire didn't care much about the revolution at all and he was only there for Enjolras, right? That's how it seemed to me, but then at the end he just pushed past those soldiers to die next to Enjolras and and and they smiled at each other and Grantaire loved Enjolras and Enjolras probably loved Grantaire at the end there NOOOOOO i'm going to need to read 100000 AU fanfics oh god

OH MY GOD YOU NOTICED IT (I have to say I didn´t notice it when watching it for the first time) and yes yes Grantaire doens´t believe in the revolution at all and he is only there because of Enjolras and in the end when Enjolras is about to get shot Grantaire wakes up in the Musain and HE COULD HAVE WALKED AWAY, HE COULD HAVE LIVED, BUT WITHOUT eNJOLRAS HE HAD NO REASON TO LIVE FOR

omg I ship these guys so much, this ship makes me cry by just thinking about it. I mean I ship it even more than Destiel, and if that doesn´t say something I don´t know…

aaand when you want to read an AU fanfic I can reeeaaly recommend Let Me Count The Ways by zimriya. It is a high school AU and loosely based on 10 things I hate about you and really good^^ Zimriya writes pretty good stuff in general (still waiting for the Les Mis Hogwarts AU to finally be updated…)

RED, THE BLOOD OF ANGRY MEN, BLACK, THE DARK OF AGES PAST. oh my goooooood that was so great, oh my god I cried like six ocean's worth of tears but it was so good, but EVERYONE DIED NOOO like gavroche and eponine (who I LOVED, and I also love the respect that Marius treats her with and the way he held her as she died WHICH WAS FREAKING HEARTBREAKING like properly because she died for him and she loved him so much and just nooooo) and also fantine and EVEN JAVERT, I was sad about Javert too :(

RED, A WORLD ABOUT TO DAWN, BLACK, THE NIGHT THAT ENDS AT LAAAAST 

and omg it is just so horrible how Gavroche and Eponine both can´t finnish their songs when they die and the word Eponine doesn´t get to sing is grow while Gavroche´s is up, BECAUSE THEY NEVER GROW UP OMG

and yes it allways makes me so sad when I think how the moments before her death were the happiest moments in Eponines life, because Marius held her and everything ugh

and yes, I think you can tell a lot about a person on how they react to Javert´s suicide (like I have this friend and we watched the movie in a group and when Javert was standing on the bridge she would be like: oh is he going to jump? Cool. ) and yeah it is so horrible because he wasn´t a VILLAIN, he was just so caught in this idea of justice that he couldn´t see anymore and I just don´t get people who are happy about his death…

wow that HP video was so great, incredible for a fanmade thing! Grindelwald especially was an amazing actor. Poor Ariana :C I've been planning a reread of the Potter books, this has made up my mind, it's got to happen. The spells were so good in that! And the cinematography, it was beautiful. I wish some of the actual films had been as pretty as this, though I do like them a lot as they are ^^

Yes, I´d love to see an entire movie about the story with these guys….like also how they met and how their plans started…everybody is allways talking about the next generation and the marauders era (which don´t get me wrong are really cool and especially the second would deserve an own movie) but I think the Dumbledore/Grindelwald story is just so interesting and cool and in comparisen really underappreciated in the fandom…

Ahhh this band is great! Their music makes a really nice background, it's not too demanding to listen to, you know? I like to write and I've been writing with these guys as my soundtrack for an hour or so and it's really great :) "dark sea" especially is lovely. Ahhh you got to see them and Boy in concert? That's awesome! Are they as good live?

Yes, they are really great live, and we stood in the first row because the father of  a friend of mine worked there for the security and let us in early^^ and the guys from Husky sold all the fan articles after the concert and we got an autograph and bought a “BOYtel” (thst´s the pun that is on all the fan bags of BOY, Boytel sounds exactly like Beutel which is the German term for bag)

and that´s great, I wish I had more time for writing aswell… Do you write only for your own or do you publish your stuff somewhere?
