• 📱🌊🇨🇷 But first let me take a ... • As @danielsjensen was making a huge effort on rock, our bags got attacked by vicious monkeys🙈 @danielgraychristoffersen and I was completely paralysed, as the monkeys investigated our gear. @danielsjensen finally managed to find a break in between the waves, jumped down and scared off the monkeys like the hombre he is 😂 (at Osa Peninsula)

•🐎🌊🌴 Out of nowhere • We had seen them in the distance when we got there, but we didn’t pay any further attention to them besides that. As we made our way back to the car, a couple kids ran passed us. 10-15 minutes later they came running towards us, now accompanied by 7-10 horses. No rope, no treats, no nothing. The horses followed the boys wherever they went🇨🇷 2/3 for 14/12-17 (at Drake Bay Nature)

• 🌴🌊🇨🇷 Paradise found • He pointed on a map and showed us where to go. He wasn’t too sure how to get there, but we were confident that if we just kept driving, and eventually walk, we’d find a great spot. As the road came to an end, the tiniest school appeared right on the beach. We all agreed, right there and then, that that was school goals🌴💯 1/3 for 14/12-17 (at Drake Bay Nature)

•👀🌲🇨🇭 Look up • Recently, at a workshop, one of the speakers - @patricklarsendk - advised the audience to look up whenever you struggle with something. He then told the story of a bee stuck in a bottle. The bee was stuck and couldn’t escape. Finally, after quite some time, the bee flew upwards, through the opening and out. The analogy really stuck with me, and I’ve tried to implement it ever since. Simply being aware of it, makes it easier to take a step back and look for alternative solutions whenever things get difficult. That was 3 posts for 13/12-17 ✌🏼 (at Italy)

~ One for the books 🌅 ~ 5am and the alarm goes off. The mental negotiation begins on whether it’s worth it or not. It is. We grab our gear and make our way to the car. Slowly but surely the groggy feeling of waking up dissolves into my happy and stoked mood of racing to catch the sunrise. We arrive, and decide to drive on the sand to get further down the beach. The sea fog swirls in the slight breeze and the first rays from the sun starts to appear behind the mountain. It’s time for breakfast 🙏🏼 (at Paquera, Puntarenas, Costa Rica)

~ Perfect mornings ✨~ Renowned chef Marco Pierre White once said in an episode of MasterChef Australia something along the lines of “If you have a dream you have a duty to make it come true”. To that, I’d add “but you can’t do it alone”. I’ve been raised to have developed a personality full of confidence, but especially during that last couple of months, I’ve realized that no matter how much work I put in or how bad I want something, I can’t do it alone. You need good people around you and a strong foundation of family and friends that love and support you. (at Pragser Wildsee)
