Lars of the Stars... . You ever get so into a piece of media that you lose your appetite and forget how to be a human for a few days? It's only happened to me a few times, like when I first discovered Undertale or when the Adventure Time finale came out, and I don't think it's really happened since then. One of those times was when Off Colors came out, so even though I dropped Steven Universe pretty hard after it ended I'm really excited that they're doing a spin-off based on that episode.

Idk what trans man needs to hear this but you're NOT evil or disgusting for being a man. You do NOT have to suffer for the sins of the patriarchy committed by cis dudes. Being a man doesn't invalidate the misogyny you experienced growing up or experience now. Being a man doesn't mean you deserve to be isolated. Being a man doesn't mean you're inherently predatory or scary. You didn't "choose" this, and finding your true self is NOT "betraying the community" because you happen to be a man and/or masculine rather than a woman and/or feminine. You ARE allowed to be upset when people "affirm" your gender by malgendering you.

You DO deserve a community that uplifts you. You DO deserve to experience trans joy. You DO deserve to have your voices heard and your struggles recognized. Wanting the bare minimum of solidarity is NOT "making everything about trans men".

I think a lot of people really haven't considered the unlimited opportunities of being able to just commission art. Like you can literally just pay someone money to have them make practically whatever you want for you. Like you could probably hire some smaller soft rock band to write you a song about some shitty couple who obviously hate each other but instead of just breaking up already they keep getting drunk and fighting about the same damn subjects over and over and over while the neighbours can do nothing but listen to their publicly broadcasted private grievances.

And then put your stereos against the wall and play it on a constant loop until your annoying neighbours pause and go "wait, is this song about us?"

It disheartens me that the term "AI" will no longer fully be associated with cool machine learning stuff, or video game enemies, or true complete artificial intelligence. It will always be a reminder of (or mistaken for) the thieving "generative" horridness. Calling the thieving "generative" horridness "AI" is like calling a virus a living being. Neither can perpetuate their own existence without someone else and both make me sick.
