I can’t believe graduation is right around the corner! And with it the end of my time here at Seattle U Student Voices ♥️ This year has been filled with so many great memories, but I think a few of my favorites were Quadstock, Young Life club events, and going on the Search Retreat! Good luck to all you who are starting college soon. Make sure to take things slow and savor every moment of your college career, and to take lots and lots of pictures!

Union coffee! It’s right down the street from Squirrel Chops, but offers a vibe different than any of the coffee places I have visited. It has a minimalistic, modern feel, and a cool record wall. It is a little on the quiet side though so it wasn’t a good fit for me!

Me and my friend have been going around to coffee shops on Captiol Hill and reviewing them for fun which is why I have been posting so many coffee shop pictures. Here’s another one! Squirrel Chops is a coffee shop on Madison that offers not only great coffee and food, served by an all female staff, but also hair cuts! Easily one of my favorites.

This weekend me and some of the Young Life crew went to Malibu, which is a Young Life camp in Canada! It’s so pretty up there, and we had a great time serving the high school students who were up there this weekend from Young Life groups all over Seattle.

Another place I love to get coffee is Victrola Coffee Roasters, which is down on Pike and next to the Starbucks Roastery. It’s a little hole in the wall that makes me feel like I’m away from the city, and they make great coffee!

This past Friday was the Military Ball, where we celebrate the seniors in the ROTC program here at SeattleU. My friend Dawnnie, who I met freshman year, invited me as one of his guests, and we got to celebrate his commencement as he goes off to train to become a pilot. So proud!!!

This is a video of MAX at Quadstock, which is an annual music festival that we have on campus every Spring! We’ve had Macklemore and Small Pools come perform before, and it’s an event that we all look forward to every year!

I went to Salt & Straw for the first time the other day, and it was SO GOOD! They have crazy flavors like Skittles, Pear and Blue Cheese, Strawberry Honey Balsamic, and Honey Lavender! You know this is the best ice cream place on Capitol Hill because the line is always long.

One of my favorite coffee shops on Capitol Hill, Kaladi Brothers! It has such an open atmosphere to it, a lot of seating, vintage decorations, cute dogs, and the coffee is great! Doing hw here is a must.

Today in my Multimedia Entrepreneurship class we had a guest speaker who works with ABC/Disney to revamp news stations across the country to make them innovative and targeted towards a younger, tech savy audience. I love these opportunities to connect with real professionals in the industry!

This weekend I went on the Search retreat through campus ministry! I would highly recommend going on this retreat because it’s such a special experience, and it was really fun for me to go on it with my first friend in college Julia!
