Every country celebrates their independence day differently. For Estonians, part of the tradition is watching TV and seeing our president shake hands, one by one, with Estonian politicians, athletes, celebrities and other important people who were invited to the independence day reception. In fact, it is one of the most popular live broadcasts in Estonia annually.
