He grinned at her.’ I don’t know about you but I love to play the games more than going on the rides.”

‘It’s ok, I didn’t mind waiting. You have a lovely singing voice.’ He smiled and handed the flowers over.” Are you ready to go?”

Sev smiled and happily listened to her sing. It was beautiful and he found himself liking it, usually he wouldn’t give softer music a chance. He watched her expression and found himself truly beginning to fall for her.

He didn’t know why Jet made him so nervous and uneasy. He was twice his age for God’s sake. Perhaps someday he’d admit his feelings for Mae but that day was not today.
The next day he had actually taken all his decorations down and placed them off to the side so they could go back up when the furniture was moved around. He opened the door and grinned.” Hey Mae, thanks for coming over I really appreciate it.”
A Number of Ages and a Lifetime Ago
The sun had reached high noon with its heat barring down upon the dusty air. Tumble weeds whispered of seasons and sand grains gone by. The cactus in the garden stretched for the fiery rays of light. A little desert town called Night Vale was relishing this dry peace. It wasn’t much for one resident though. A young woman sitting on the porch, painting on a canvas, sighed with a stroke of sky blue. It was a slow day at her shop so she sat outside, capturing a landscape of the street. The sign above her squeaked it’s rusty clasps as “Mae’s Emporium” swung with the breeze.

‘Well I was born and raised in New York. I’ve always been mute it’s a gasssle sometimes but whatever.’ He poured sugar and creamer into his own coffee.’ I have a half brother in California. I just met him last year and he’s great. And I moved here to experience new things.’

He signed what he wanted to him, which ended up being spaghetti.’ So tell me about yourself.’

“I’m not seeing anyone.” He froze as he was told the color and went to take the ring off, nearly getting it stuck when Jet appeared with the clothing.” No one I’m honestly not seeing anyone.” He put the ring back where he found it.” I-uh gotta go, I just remembered there was something at home that needs my attention.” He gave a smile and quick wave before quickly exiting the shop.

“Oh yeah?” He asked curiously and put one on, assuming they were the same ones out when he was young. However the one he put on glowed a very bright, noticeable purple.” Uh What’s this color mean?” He looked over at her.
