i think hoder is quite interesting because within the world of scala ad caelum, she'd probably be considered a very good and virtuous person. she's a strong and kind keyblade wielder who is highly dedicated to the light and will do whatever it takes to eliminate 'evil' (darkness) no matter the cost. but as the audience, we see—and have previously seen—the disastrous consequences of the 'light is right' mentality, so while her actions would probably be praised by larger scalan society, to us her dedication is destructive. however, this is what she thinks is right, scala ad caelum taught her that this is right. and it's this learned moral absolutism that got in the way and caused her and baldr to turn on each other. she obviously cared about him, and when she tried to kill him it was because she thought he was too far gone to save. and to scala, she would likely be considered as in the right to have done so. she wasn't necessarily a bad person, yet had an inability (or perhaps even unwillingness) to understand baldr's struggles and likely saw trying to kill him as 'right'. odin in that one cutscene with vidar described vessels for darkness being struck down as a 'necessary sacrifice', and i think hoder might've seen baldr the same way. she's like if aqua was taken to the logical extreme, where instead of unintentionally saying hurtful things to terra because of what eraqus taught her but eventually throwing herself into the RoD to save him, she instead tried to strike terra down for being affiliated with darkness

i never noticed before but they animated the chains on baldr's keyblade and hip. every little thing like this makes me appreciate the animators more and more

i am very worried that we're gonna see brain die or have some other horrible thing happen to him during missing link, but i also assume there might be a time skip because he does need to have descendants before said horrible thing happens so.. possible time skip brain design??

yknow i sort of hope that we don’t see luxu’s ‘original’ face. imho the idea of a guy with a regular lifespan body-snatching his way to effective immortality and slipping between identities throughout the generations developing this carefree jokester persona as time stretches on carrying so much firsthand knowledge of ages passed having watched as keyblade society collapsed and rebuilt itself over again is much cooler if we don’t have a face to associate with the ‘real’ luxu
