Women. Women loving women. Men loving men. Love. Art. Matriarchy. Ancient Greece Mythology.
If I had to define Camilaās art work in Romance the words I mentioned above I think they could express what I see on the album cover.
No wonder Camilaās desperate PR circus with SeƱorito in this case. They have created a whole āheterosexualā show so that Camila had full freedom (or everything they wanted to give her) to express what ROMANCE means to her.
And this meaning brings us to this other image of the art work of Romance
In the image we can see two different concepts but at the same time they go hand in hand with what we have known about Camila.
The first part is the part of ancient Greece and the goddesses, priestess, the matriarchy ā¦ the women.
And this image can also be very related, (next to the cover of Romance) with Laurenās post about women and her song Burning.Ā
Women loving women
Both girls have agreed to teach us that Greek mythology has to do with their music.
If we remember, in ancient Greece, same-sex couples were not unusual. It was a matriarchal age in some aspects and very patriarchal in others but I will not go deeper into that subject because it is not the most important thing in this case.
What really caught my attention in Romanceās second art work was the image of Camila holding a kind of red apple pierced by three daggers.
At least itās what I see but itās not the most important thing either. That image of her with that in her hand looks a lot like the representation of a tarot card called three of spades
It is a heart pierced by three swords and its meaning is not very happy that we say
(We all know who was the rose also)
Another thing that caught my attention on the cover is that the apple seems to be ābleedingā between Camilaās fingers and the other end of the apple has flowers. The image of the tarot card has a rose and in another of Camilaās works of art they also have roses
The most curious thing about this cover is that I remember posting a video of reading tarot cards about Shonmila where the girl who reads the tarot cards mentions that Camila has been involved in three relationships but that there is one of them that she cannot forget and that Itās about the past because the girl with the cards pulled out a card with three images. Right now I donāt remember if the tarot card was a three of spades or three of pentacles but it was a three and three meant THREE PEOPLE.
Three people related to Camila. Two from her past and one from her present.
Her present we already know what circus it is, her past has had a circus and a real relationship where the same girl from the tarot cards asked if Camila was engaged.
In the artwork Camila is holding the apple (the hearts, her heart) with three daggers. A lot of a coincidence, isnāt?
But the cover not only has the apple representing her heart but also butterflies flying around her and perched on her hair and body.
The butterfly is a symbol that represents it completely and that it has been doing since 2016, long before the current fucking it has and that they have wanted to link to it just because seƱorito has a butterfly tattoo. Idiots. (Iāll edit the post with the link when I find it)
What the butterfly means is also interesting because knowing the meaning so painful that the apple / heart has, the butterfly comes to mean rebirth, endurance, change and life.
Camila is a survivor and she has proved it by far. She has loved so much and at the same time suffered so much for love that she would not mind going through the same suffering again and again if in the end she is able to be with that special person to whom she has dedicated almost all her music.
Donāt forget folks, this is my own interpretation of the images. probably Iām wrong and Camila will explain it differently, but this is just my vision, thanks for reading.

The ShawMila Mess
Camila and Shawn claim they don't use social media on their phones anymore, they don't care about what people say, they want to keep their relationship private and then as soon as Camila's Liar music video is released, Shawn posts a disturbing kissing video as a "joke". What a contradiction! Can these two and their teams stick to a single narrative please?!
Now more people are discussing the kissing video from Instagram than Camila's actual music video. Why was this video uploaded today at around the same time as the Liar music video release? The kissing video is most likely prerecorded as I don't believe Camila and Shawn are in the same city at the moment. I could be mistaken.
This relationship has turned into a mess for Camila because not only does everyone keep calling it fake, she is basically pushing the narrative that she is a cheater. She was pining for Shawn Mendes while she was claiming to be deeply in love with Matthew. Or so they'd like us to believe.
In her live, she kept asking her mother, Sinu, when she should say she wrote Shameless and Liar. Do you need to think that much when it comes to telling the truth?
I'm certain that her album has been ready for a while.
She didn't just write up Liar and Shameless in the last few months and pick those for release over everything else that was ready. This was always planned. They just wanted to give SeƱorita the time to succeed before releasing her music. And this kissing video is nothing but trying to create a narrative even if it means people talk about it more than her actual music.
In the Liar music video, Camila shows that when she chooses her "true love", she loses all the riches and goes to rags. Has her picking Shawn Mendes made any difference to her career? Even ShawMila stans claim she's clearly winning. So how can her true love be Shawn? Any bad publicity hasn't affected her financially. What if she chose a same sex partner? Now THAT will certainly raise eyebrows. Is it a coincidence that Camila chose to include two gay men who finally accepted they had feelings for each other even though they were both in relationships with women?
However, the music industry (even the film industry) doesn't look too kindly upon LGBT+ artists. She would definitely lose a lot of deals and publicity should she ever come out. Essentially going from "riches to rags" and "woke to broke".
Isn't that the reason why even the likes of Kristen Stewart picked PR relationships?
And it's 2019.
The only reason that would explain why it's important to highlight ShawMila at this instance is to make the public believe her true love is Shawn even though neither have actually ever said they are in a relationship because they want privacy (they've done everything EXCEPT be private). That way neither have lied to us. If we think they are dating, that's on us.
Don't know about the rest of you, but I'd rather think of them as a PR couple than Camila as a cheater. I just wish we all were talking about Camila's music rather than her relationships but here we are.
