One of my favorite reds moment of my favorite chapter adapted into a comic: wanted to draw Blossom’s expressions while stumbling on her words and cringing haha.  It’s been a while since I drew for More than Human!

In case you wanna know what Blossom thinks to herself in the last panel:  “Oh my gosh Blossom why did you have to stumble on your words like that. You’re the smartest Powerpuff Girl, why did you have to be like that. Now he’s going to remember this moment and embarrass you  for the rest of your life. Brick please stop looking at me and say something.”

Wanted to try the vertical scroll style comic and had just finished reading this scene in sbj’s More Than Human. I thought it would be a cool challenge since the characters are positionally static (mostly), and changes in expression/posture/gestures exist to emphasize the dialogue (at least in an artist’s perspective). Totally new at all this - I know the lining is tiny and also what are colors??? I mean, it’s uh, just the Reds’ theme…

…yeah, that’s why…

Anyhoo. Couple more to come, but I’m not making the entire scene.

Brick cannot gaze upon the goddess~

I adapted this part from memory and rereading the passage (and the new chapter!) now made me realize that I messed up in the details, namely that Brick flashes her with the camera and that they’re definitely not in a gymnasium of any sort hahaha :’)  But I hope you enjoy it regardless!
