Tabling Applications Last Call!!

tabling applications close sunday the 14th! make our valentines day sweet and get yours in!!

In terms of the accessibility of the event/venue we would like to outline the following:

We cannot make the space have a scent-free policy but we encourage anyone and everyone to be as scent-free as possible by not wearing perfumes or doing other things that create strong odors. (here are tips on how to do this and why its important: http://thinkagaintraining.com/about/fragrance-free/) There are ramps into the building and we will prop open the doors to make it easily enterable. We will make space between tables so that moving through the event is easier. We will have chairs for anyone to sit on during the event.- Bathrooms have disability stalls. There is one already gender neutral bathroom and we will change most of the other bathrooms to be neutral or to be new binaries like cat/dog and punk/metal and whatever is funny. DO NOT harass people based on what bathroom they go into; we will not hesitate to kick you out. There are no drugs (including alcohol) allowed in the space. We can’t stop you from doing things at other places but keep this a sober-friendly, youth-friendly space and handle yourself. There will be scratch paper around the event for anyone who wants or needs to communicate with that. Service animals are of course welcome to the space. We will provide ear plugs because this will potentially be noisy, especially the musical performances. We are trying to rent a projector and project, as best as we can, what is being said by musicians, poets, etc, in English and Spanish. If theres anything else that we can do to make this event accessible, then please email us and we will try to work out whatever is possible.We will update you on any changes in conditions of accessibility.

SC Zine Fest Applications are Now Open!

Santa Cruz Zine Fest applications are open! We will be accepting applications for tablers, workshops, and performers until February 14th!
