Day 6 (hike day 3) - Wed Aug 9, 2023 - Jezeru hut -> Velem hut

Hut: Vodnikov dom na Velem polju
Sleep altitude: 1817m
Trail breakdown: No cabin for lunch!

Hut details: Shower available for price, indoor private bathrooms
Fred and Mai stayed back in the Jezeru hut and we continued on without them :( . Woody and Sam took a creative approach down the mountain (see video). Injured knees and back, fear of heights, fear of cows with horn (bulls???).

Trail breakdown: Dolic to Jezerih cabin: 7k, 500 downstop by Jezerih cabin for lunch. Jezerih cabin to Planini: Jezeru 1.5 hrs, easy, 7k, flat. Overall: 14k, 4hrs, mostly down and flat.

Day 4 (hike day 1) - Monday Aug 7, 2023 - Aljažev dom v Vratih hut -> Dolic hut

Hut: Koča na Doliču pod Triglavom
Sleep altitude: 2149m
Trail breakdown: Vaith hut to Lukna Pass: 2 hrs, "easy", 4k, 770 up. Lukna Pass to Dolic hut: 1.5 hrs,"easy", 5k, 700 up, 400 down. No cabin for lunch!
