same-sex friendships and shipping

kinda love how one of the homophobes main "problem" with queer shipping is "but why can't they just be friends?? Same-sex friendships are so important!!"

Meanwhile I've seen the best friendships mainly in bl. That's where friends always stick together and give each other tips and tease each other over their love life. And sure, they're getting shipped, but usually not nearly as much as the main couples/their respective relationships.

My favourite same-sex friendships are found in bls. I still recognise how important they are and I love to see it!

I think I said before that I likes how the novel treated them, due to the age difference.

And knowing how shows worked, I guessed that they would be much more obvious and probably really get together. Which I was worried about.
