Ahem. Cough cough. I am insanely embarrassed doing this but I NEED to yap

(Slight warnings for mentions of "one night stands" and murder but nothing is fully explicitly/detailed written down)

Also I YAPPED!!! A LOT!!! WHOOPS anyways throws this at your face

So. My ocs. They're all sisters/siblings, I'm still figuring out who should be the oldest since. We don't really have canon ages. But for now, oldest to youngest is Sterling (St3rling), Brooklyn (Br00klyn), and River (Riv3r).

River is more of the meek one than the other two, but does become talkative once you get to know them. But most of the time they're like a background character, mostly hidden and just keeps to theirself most of the time. As in they're quiet, but will speak up if they have/want/feel the need to, but it feels slightly harder with their family especially their sisters.

They feel useless when their siblings fight.

Brooklyn has a bitch resting face, she looks grumpy and does sometimes act like such but she means well and has a good heart, but the grumpy personality very easily melts away around anyone she has a crush on. She can be flirty around said crush, clingy- because of this, it became a cycle of her crushes being annoyed of her to the point of despising her.

At this point, she feels like an overwhelming idiot to everyone around her.

Now Sterling... They're the most extroverted, always talking with someone even if it's a simple conversation with someone they never met and might not see again. They're very gentle, warm, wanting to make everyone as comfortable as possible. And yet, despite it all... They have almost a thousand words they can't bare to say out loud. Especially to their sisters. Their family. The people that mean most.

How can they admit without lingering disgust of themselves that they go out late at night just for the warmth of someone's touch? That they go out to see someone and never see them again? If they did, they would act like they never met.

How can they talk at all like they don't hate who they hide?

Even though they somehow managed to hide and keep it away, Brooklyn has noticed how Sterling does walk off at night and comes back a bit WAY later. She obviously grew worried and concerned. She grew frustrated when Sterling would make an excuse that anyone else would easily brush off, but they're family, she knows when her own siblings are lying no matter how good it seems- the same would go for them, they all know when either of them is lying.

Brooklyn does understand that sometimes people aren't able to let it out even to their family, but even then it still makes them worry about Sterling's safety. It still makes them frustrated that Sterling is hiding who knows what.

River is also worried for Sterling, but they aren't as frustrated as Brooklyn- they somewhat are and do try to speak about it, but even then it's brushed off. Again, it makes them feel useless. They hate feeling useless.

Their parents do have an influence on each of them because of how they are- they weren't the best of parents but they weren't the worst either, they're more in the gray area of parenting. They could've done better. One of the things all of the siblings can agree on.

Like with all of them at young ages, especially River, their parents basically did EVERYTHING for them, controlling them in almost every way possible because of the overwhelming fear of something bad happening to any of them. But as soon as adulthood hit, they were thrown in like it was nothing.

It was slightly harder for Sterling, but they all helped each other through and figured things out.

In general, the family relationship is slightly strained, but they're all working on it. Slowly.

Because of such controlling behavior, River feels the need to take care of anything and everything they can to help anyone in some way. They easily overwhelm themselves with this and both older siblings obviously know this, and it's gotten better with their help. But River still tries to take care of a lot of things, but they also genuinely enjoy it. It's oddly relaxing in some ways for them, the thing they most enjoy is taking care of plants. They adore nature.

So, when Sterling then introduced a good friend of theirs, married to a man and had a kid. River became a curious little thing and offered to help babysit whenever, and also they genuinely just wanted to know more about kids.

The married couple did already have a babysitter, but River became a plan b for whenever the usual babysitter was busy with whatever matters they had.

River became oddly fond of kids as they babysat the child.

Anyways um. Post-forsaken. The first to go I would say Sterling- Brooklyn immediately breaks down when they haven't heard from their sibling in days, along with River but Brooklyn seems to take it even worse. They were worried sick for a reason afterall.

Then, River disappears. And Brooklyn just seems to lose it. Locking herself in her home, almost never leaving.

And next thing she knows? She's in a cabin with several unfamiliar faces, aside from- River.

In forsaken, I'm still thinking of like what they're able to do and all that jazz (it'll take me YEARS to figure out passives and etc) but what I do have (the main things really)- Brooklyn is a sentinel, a baseball bat she can hit the killers with (feels insanely bad whenever she hits c00lkidd), stunning said killer for 6 seconds.

River plays a support role, a healer specifically!! They carry their own medical supplies (cooldown 30 seconds) but also can also heal survivors by a touch of their hands (cooldown also 30 seconds) ((cannot heal themselves ofc)).

Now... Sterling. I'm making this dramatic for a reason I think you know where this is going.

Sterling's a killer.

The Specter wiped all the memories of their family and anyone else important from their mind, so they don't at all recognize their siblings- it destroyed both of them when they figured that out.

But the way Sterling kills is quite different from anyone else- at first, they try to get into the mind of the targeted survivor kinda like mind reading but more like reading through as many memories as they can. It paralyzes said survivor for 5 seconds and this ability would have a cooldown of either 20 or maybe again 30 seconds idk vro I'm still figuring it out 💔💔😭😭😭

Now, with said survivors memories in mind- Sterling then tries to break them down mentally/emotionally whilst also giving them physical injuries in the process of it all.

Again, I don't know how exactly it would work but. Yeah

For the final blow, Sterling kills the targeted survivor in the quickest and painless way possible. No one knows exactly why, but it doesn't seem to be out of pure malice. None of their actions seem to be that way but it obviously comes off as such.

But even then, some have noticed (River and Brooklyn first pointed it out), and they can't figure out why.

But for River and Brooklyn, Sterling kills them... Almost gently. Still quick and painless, but gently. Like saying without words that it'll be okay even if it isn't.

Oh yeah I have a single voiceline for such. Ahem. "Please forgive me."

I just yapped about my ocs here but I've yapped this far guess I'll continue (if ANYONE read all this. Thank you. You're insane /aff /pos just like me fr)

First, Brooklyn. Remember how I mentioned how she has a bitch resting face but absolutely melts around her crush? Yeah, she's grown quite fond of Elliot. She absolutely does flirt with him but because of the fear of being an annoying brat, they keep it low, they try not to be clingy either.

When they first met him, they found him pretty. They're also quite the honest person and sometimes can't help themselves, so they said it to his face.

As they did continue talking, Brooklyn grew more and more fond of him- even with the person he had a grudge towards, Elliot still gave him a slice of pizza when he needed to heal. He's selfless, no matter what, even under such circumstances. She adores that about him, his kindness.

Then River had slowly gained an interest in 007n7, they were curious about him in the first place, seeing as nobody else spoke with him like, at all. They were then explained th at because of his past, most keep their distance from him. It did make them more curious, because he didn't seem to be the person anyone explained him to be at all.

So, they got to know him. Genuinely wanting to make him comfortable especially in an insane situation they're all in.

Despite him being awkward at first, he slowly begins to lean on their shoulder. Slowly. He warms up to them.

(I once read a headcanon that 007n7 feels like anyone who shows him kindness is only because they have to, not because they want to. Hc stays in my brain because it's so real).

Now. Ahem. Sterling... Hrm. Chance has grown quite interested in them. They find Sterling... Oddly familiar, like they were good friends or... Something he can't properly point it out. They're also one of the few curious as to why Sterling's method of murder is different from the rest of the killers.

So what does the gambling risk-taker do? Go up to Sterling and talk to them of course!

Does it work? Somewhat. Sterling didn't give a proper answer, just that they were doing what they were supposed to, why does it matter? But. At least they talked.

Chance began to talk to Sterling more, then trying to figure out why Sterling is so familiar to them but is also... Oddly interested in them in ways they might not want to admit properly. And Sterling is just like "damn. what's with this guy-thing" because. Why are you talking to me I murder your teammates.

But Sterling, also slightly curious about the gambler, begins to converse alongside Chance. They become an odd duo the more rounds they talk in (Chance may throw in a few flirts and Sterling either plays along or just goes 😒).

Either way- the other survivors are like. What the fuck.

THE ANIMATIC IS SO FREAKING COOL HOLY SHIT,,, ik its usually just a style choice but THE GREEN AND RED FROM 1X BEING THE ONLY COLORS THERE MAKES THE SCENES WITH THEM SM MORE HORRIFYING AND STRIKING and it brings focus and attention to her,, esp with their reflection in flare's eyes and tears!!! and i imagine its kind of like that for colin too, this danger is so distinct and stands out so much because of the threat to not only his life but his little sister's. this is his target, this is who he has to protect his little sister from

but in the end, he fails. the blood from her decapitated body in that one frame is literally reaching to him, pointing to him even. and it does two things!! it's reaching, as if flare's literal blood is reaching out for her big brother. he can't do anything by now, and neither can she, but she's still seeking comfort, help, anything from him. and second, it's pointing, it puts focus on colin in the foreground, which i personally interpret as colin feeling the burden of not being there to save her, as if the blame is on him.

gosh and also flare's eye turning scribbly as 1x slashes her its so effective at showing the loss of life in her YOU ARE EVIL.

He pins the blame on n7! He jus got here after all. He doesnt know anything about whats going on. all he saw was n7 running away while his sister died.

WHEW oc yap incoming lads esp because colin's intro post is outdated anyway yaya Colin is one of my forsaken ocs and flare is my buddy Apollo's Oc

Colin and flare are siblings that used to live a relatively normal life; Colin was a varsity baseball player for the university he went to, full ride scholarship and everything. He's 20 years old, flare is 8. Their father is a Sergeant in the military, deployed overseas. Their mother is a professor, and she also happens to be one of very few guests left in robloxia.

During one of colin's baseball tournaments some weird biological warfare fuckshit happens [i did not write this bit as i planned to make a roblox game based off of his lore lmao] and the apocalypse begins, leaving him to protect his sister by himself after his mother dies while leading away a horde of the undead to save them, with his father nowhere to be seen.

after a few months of living on edge, colin and flare get trapped in a building with another horde, and then they both get forsakened. Colin after dying, flare after watching him die

the animatic in question is like. their very first day in the forsaken realm. Colin's very on edge and has an extreme fear of the undead because of what happened, and he was given very little time or explanation before being put into a round with his sister [the spectre was having fun that day.]

flare dies to 1x, leaving colin to believe she's just fully dead forever and he crashed out at 007n7 because he ran away instead of trying to help Flare get away from 1x. that "Are you man enough" with colin grabbing n7's collar is basically colin challenging n7 to punch him in the face to prove he's as weak as he says he is.
