With the recap for the past volume we start the double hearted year with full force. As said before on our last stream, the upload schedule for the comic will be a new chapter every 14-15 of each month!

Au explanation:

Au where the life series is actually a series of books instead of a minecraft smp series. And Grian has fallen head over heels for the book version of Scar[mainly wildlife Scar], not realizing that the book version of Scar is the author's/Scar's persona and that the author always adds a version of Grian into the series as a symbol of his love for him. 'Real Life' Scar and Grian both work in the same bookshop but bc Grian tends to work front desk/check out and Scar works in the back cleaning books and unpacking them, they don't really talk much. But Scar has a massive crush on Grian. Grian's actually Scar's biggest fan, tho he doesn't know Scar is the author of his favorite series, and when Scar & Grian do talk, during their breaks, it tends to be Grian telling Scar about his favorite author's series and it makes Scar really happy to hear that Grian enjoys his writing so much. Grian just hates how the book version of Scar always ends up dying before he can get to tell the book version of Grian that he loves him. Scar finds Grian's rambling and ranting adorable and wishes he had the courage to ask Grian if he would want to meet up outside of work to talk.

Each of the life series are split into 5 books and Wildlife [the latest, and the last one for this au] is only 3 books away from being complete and Grian's worried that his favorite character will have another bad ending. But Scar plans to have his book version and Grian's book version get together at the end of the 5th book. He's hoping even if Grian rejects his confession that he'll at least let his book version finally get the man he's wanted for so long. But luckily for Scar, The only reason Grian actually fell for the book version of Scar is bc it reminds him so much of the actual Scar. So when Scar confesses, he confesses by giving Grian an early copy of the 5th Wildlife book with a note asking Grian if he'll go out with his favorite author, Which causes Grian to finally put the dots together and get really [adorably] excited and say yes.

[And that's all I have figured out for this au so far. I *MIGHT* write a whole story about this once I finish my other story but I'm not sure when that'll be since I've got three chapters left on my other story and i'm having major motivation problems with writing. So for now you guys will just get some adorable art for it instead.]

Midday sun puts a familiar shadow on the Trader Scar's stairs, watching as old hands with new scars open stocked to the brim barrels. It's alright, everything is on the same place as it was when he left. A walk to the Keeper, then.

Sunflowers are healthy, with only a little weeds in-between, swaying in the wind in dreamy golden-green carpet. Was it all just a dream? There's no shadow on the place where his memory draws two more.

...he'll take care of the weeds in the evening. Right now, Keeper.

Amongst the sunflower sea, edges of black cape brush past young pink roses and orange rain lilies.

Feather and Crystal (I remember)

Set after wild life session 5, under the premise that dd gave each other a feather earring and a crystal necklace back in 3rd life <3 They can be seen in a lot of my past pieces, the og concept was from bugs buggsxp back during dl !!

Okay, so yes, Desert Duo are friends again, Mumbo is dead, canary curse is over, blah blah blah-

But can we talk about how much effort has been put into this series? We've got people shrinking and growing in the first episode. Not being able to eat foods and having to look for other things instead in the second.

And then we have the snails? Which hung people down? And all match the person they're hunting? And got custom names? Aaand they also have animations?

Then we got the speeding up thing, which starts off slow as all hell in the fourth one

And then the Triviabot????????? Which needed a team of people for the questions + answers. Who has its own soundtrack? And voicelines? And animations? And its own snail?

There's so much effort!!! This is so cool!!! :D
