Chapter 128 Theory
Who stole the candy from my tummy? I’ve seen many theories about this text already, a lot of people seem to be suspecting the word “candy” refers to an object. But what if “candy” refers not to an object but to Ciel himself.
Here we can see that Ciel is clearly shocked by this text and seems to know exactly what it refers to. We also see that Sebastian says that Blavat wasn’t involved in this. That brings me to think, was it the cult? But we know everyone in that room the day Ciel summoned Sebastian was killed by Sebastian himself. Which makes sense for Ciel to ask Sebastian if he lied to him. did you not kill everyone?
Sebastian continues on to state he doesn’t tell lies and regrettably so. But than.. who did this? No one knew about Ciel’s disappearance.
Unless.. There is one person who was there when the house burned down and that we know barely anything of. yes I’m talking about Tanaka.
Could he be involved in all this? We don’t know anything about his past and we don’t know how he escaped the fire either. Maybe he worked together with the cult all along which is why this truth could be so shocking. it would also make sense since he knows where the townhouse is and Soma knows him well enough to say hello but not well enough to excitedly greet him. so, Could Tanaka be a suspect?

Sebastian cared about Ciel so much and it’s really pretty cute.
He admitted to enjoying his life with the Earl while smiling at him.
He didn’t have to cover Ciel’s eyes, but he did anyways. (He was fighting the corpses and he knew he triggered a PTSD flashback for Ciel, he had a choice.)
Ciel didn’t ask him to cover him, but he did anyways and was even confused.
These are things Ciel really wouldn’t have gotten mad at him for if he hadn’t done them, Sebastian did these of his own free will.
