I enjoyed a seamless production experience with Jenart Films at Blantyre.  Working side by side with Artem Martyn and Dimitriy Savchuk made creating memories for Alex and Sunil a pleasure.  I love this video.

I was honored by my good friend and wonderful Editor in Chief, Seth Rogovoy, to photograph his marriage to Linda Friedner. Oh Seth, you are such a lucky man! Here are a few of my favorite images from their jubilant celebration at Helsinki Hudson last Sunday. From the moment I arrived to the time I finished shooting, I never stopped smiling. What a great day!

I take photographs at every wedding I attend even if I am not the photographer of record. These images were taken of a young woman who has been a friend of mine since her birth. In fact, she attended my wedding as an infant when her father was my wedding photographer.  Congratulations Cara and Jason!

Molly and Jason in the Adirondacks

I have never experienced a wedding like this before, ever!  I was honored to be asked by my one of my daughters best friends to photograph her wedding and I was curious to see what a professional and no nonsense couple would plan.  I was truly surprised and delighted by what I was welcomed to participate in.  It was, to say the least a family affair.  From Israel to Alaska and points in between  they gathered in the Adirondacks and put on a party/reunion/celebration that went on for days.  Everyone participated.  All of the food and flowers and events were produced “in house” by the families.  Teams were formed for every element of the celebration that needed to be accomplished and at the end of a meeting all hands came together and a cheer of “MOLLY JASON” went up.  My wife and I were welcomed into the family and by participating, we enjoyed the wedding day as if it were our own.  Marvelous.  Well done everyone.

Weather:  Something you cannot control on your wedding day no matter how much you wish you could. During Shara’s fall wedding at Blantyre she braved the 40 degrees and windy weather with aplomb and we were able to capture these beautiful images. Only man/groom’s best friend was truly dressed for the occasion.

Several months after photographing Dan’s surprise engagement to Cecil, they asked me to work with them again at their wedding. It was a truly joyous occasion and one of my and the staff’s favorite weddings at Blantyre Resort.

The Linhares’s friends and family flew to the Berkshires from around the world to celebrate their nuptials at Blantyre. It was a joyous weekend filled with love, laughter, and hot air balloon rides.

Dan was referred to me and let me know that he was going to be staying at Blantyre and would be proposing to his partner, Cecil. I thought it would be fun to secretly document the proposal. I positioned myself at the corner of the terrace and managed to get them as they walked through for Cecil what must have been an unusual pathway of rose petals to a bench where he was seated and Dan dropped down on one knee. Dan then offered him a ring and a question. Luckily for all of us concerned, Cecil said yes.

This seemed like the most appropriate image to start my Wedding/Family journal posts.  Two amazing, enthusiastic, creative and well... gorgeous people on the first evening of the first day of their life together.  Thank you for sharing this amazing experience with me, Margaret and Colin.
