When the last light flickered, it became the final meeting between he and himself.

He himself returned the next morning.

His green eyes glimmered with excitement, his starry face freshly painted to cover the bloody stains.

He took a deep breath, and cleared his throat to imitate what was observed. Grinning.

“Good mourning, Baldur’s Gate. My new tricks will be something to ABSOLUTELY die for.”

A Breath of Fresh Air

You think I wouldn’t be back on my VP Roots with the Final Patch? I’m just getting started. 😈

Wait a minute… I’m checking the calendar. It has been a full year since I first started doing Virtual Photography?!

Although I just made my Tumblr and Blue Sky not too long ago, I first began my VP journey on April 17th when I first downloaded the Otis Cam! My first composition was for my Szarkai Monk Dancer, Syvne!!

I created the idea of Harper Geraldus and Rugan as a ship back on March 30th (which I could consider their one-year anniversary too!). But ten days after obtaining Otis, I decided to test the waters with them.

Little did I know, my creative journey would take me to where I am now! I built my blocks with ReShade, and even brought Blender renders into the set!

Even when I’m not a very active poster, my works have definitely brought me to wonderful friends and communities, it’s quite fulfilling to me!

I may not have the most extraordinary compositions, but I will am joyful with a game that gives you the tools to share your creativity in many ways!

Will I make it two years? Who knows. Right now I’m just happy to bring what I love to the table, and I hope for the same for all of you too! 🥄

Broken Minded in Self-Reflection

How long has it been since he joined the Circus? Days of clowning around, weeks of same laughter reels, months of raking in the coin. All the usual suspects.

Then there were the years when a pair of green eyes watched with a twisted pleasure. Somewhere in the crowds, with every performance under the sun and stars.

Green quickly became his least favorite color.

It made him want to stagger in his stripes, hurl the bile from his throat through the purple grin of his makeup. It was an anxious feeling so familiar yet terrifyingly new, he couldn’t find the words to express this need for help.

Because the gaze follows him everywhere.

Watching. Listening.

“You have to believe me, Lucretious!” He begged the Ringmaster, “How can I afford to continue my performance with a stalker in the crowd?”

Lucretious chuckled as she tilted her face with a coffin-shaped mirror. “My dear Greenie, there’s a reason why nobody messes with us as a troupe. I give it to my stalkers when they tell me I’m ‘drop-dead’ gorgeous, but they’ll count their last days if they dare lay a finger on you.”

How reassuring. Even he could hear the insincerity in her judgement for his safety.

There were sleepless nights where all he dreamt of were those glowing eyes. He’d see them onstage, backstage, across the tents and through the cages. Is he seeing through his dreams or reality?

He tried to smile through the stress of it all, but even he couldn’t look himself in the eye, across every mirror in the water and glass.

Drip. Drop. Dribble with glee.

A fan, a stalker, excited to see.

To laugh. To cry. Anything goes.

Someone’s out to get him, and only he knows.

A Petal-Perfect Memory

There was a time, long before the mess of it all, where he was a mortal man. A quiet clever lad with a shy smile and an ounce of self-consciousness. He never thought that a circus would be the one to change his life forever.

He dribbled around the idea of joining this particular company, because it meant leaving everything behind; his town, the people, his closest friends and family. It made his chest tighten with anxiety. Who would want to hire a man that only made his 15 minutes of fame? That’s absurd in the job markets.

Yet, this wasn’t some ordinary circus, according to its flamboyant Ring Master. Why squander the chance to entertain people beyond Faêrun, hells, beyond the Realms? Anybody would kill to be in his position.

The last fond memory he cherished from home, a child gifted him a small bundle of dead flowers. Despite the state of its brittle roots and chipping petals, they tearfully explained their failure to grow a good-luck charm; a reminder of everyone’s support.

He smiled, and found solace over something so delicate. He gently accepted it as he decorated his vest.

“You’ve given me a wonderful gift,” he told the child, “I’ll take good care of it because it will remind me to ‘leaf’ my worries behind. I know now that my journey will blossom.”

The child giggled as they wiped their face. “I’m… ‘rooting’ for you, Mister Norris!”

“Thank you, I’m so fern-tunate to have all of you.” He winked before joining in laughter.

After the first couple of rounds on EEVEE, I decided to best my PC’s capacity by bumping a level on Cycles! The rendering process is slower, but gives some nice detailing and wonderful results (especially with lighting)!

One of my New Years’ Resolutions was to try something new, and while I await for Patch 8’s lovely Photo Mode, I decided to go beyond the game and hone into Blender, aka try Rendering!

✨A Sparkling New Year✨

Hello again! Posting this before midnight strikes in my zone!

2024 is coming to a close, and though I started this account (and a few others) not too long ago, I’m really grateful for the journey of making it this far.

I first started playing BG3 a couple of days after its release in August 2023, yet began learning Virtual Photography this past April! I still have ways to go to reach the level of other incredible VP’ers, but I’m happy enough to have shared my works to y’all!

I’m especially grateful to have discovered NPCs like Geraldus and Rugan, who have both grown to be my primary models, comfort characters and comfort ship. Only a couple of minutes of screen time, and now they’re my motivators when the creative blocks hit me! They may have a small audience in the fandom, but I’m glad to use my skills to bring them into the spotlight! 💙💛

Overall, I want to say thank you! From liking my posts to finding a community that shares the same passions. They’re gestures that will always make me smile, and make the hard work worth it!
