“you and i are over you can’t come to my rescue because i don’t need it” nadia hissed as she backed away. things at the office had become a little tense since they broke up. one of the partners had chewed her out for loosing the case and they were right to do so she had been off her game not double checking her source is what caused them to loose. “just stay away from me okay i don’t need your pitty.”

things between the two had been rocky it felt like anything said between them could blow up into a big fight and it didn't feel like the two could be around each other. making a quick glance he stared at the other not knowing what to say. preston cleared his throat as "not sure if you're hungry but i brought home some chinese food." he pointed to the dinner he had bought for them. feeling like they werent paying any attention he shrugged his shoulder some. "its fine you can eat or not i don't care anymore."

OKAY BUT LISTEN … divorcee plot where they share custody of the tiny human w lots of angst and fighting and shut up u will wake the tiny human and fighting over who’s week it is who gets what holiday and generally just like all of the shit that comes but idk they gotta be Hella extra about it … but lets say one of them loses their job and so they have to stay with them which raises MORE tension and who knows they may or may not retie the knot and coming together as they see their tiny human use words and talk and do tiny human things and idk im sad now idc jus lemme play jdm as the tiny human’s father

“i do really want this..” she spoke softly placing her hand on his cheek, ‘i know i have been difficult and i keep dragging you in to only push you away but this is the closest i have had to a relationship since my divorce —- call me stupid but i’m scared of what everyone is going to think and say.” 

he sighed nodding his head understanding where she was coming from softly holding onto he wrist logan smiled some. “difficult is a nice way to put it.” he slightly teased as he tried to make light of their conversation. “its not stupid ivy i get it and you shouldn’t care about what others will say i mean as long as your happy you shouldn’t really care.”
