“that’s some smart logic.” he feels an almost melancholy twinge when looking at the other, s if he was reminded of someone he used to know, though he brushes it off, “maybe. still, in a week people settle into it, usually.”

Hearing the words leave the other, Bellamy dipped his head in few slight nods of agreement. He still wasn’t sure what to make of how earth changed in last six years, but it sure as hell beat what it was like in the weeks leading up to Primfaya. “I wouldn’t say it’s normal, but it is a hell of a lot better here than where I’m from” The words weighed at him heavily. 

“you must be from someplace pretty awful then.” gilbert shook his head, “and you look like you could use a drink, come on, i know a pretty decent bar.”

a small frown formed on his lips, easily remembering the doctors and other strange weirdos in his best friend’s city, especially around the arkham asylum. thank rao that metropolis had less… uh… what’s another word for loco? 

     “ changed in what way ? like mentally or          physically or ? d’ya know the name ?… sorry           ‘bout asking a lot, just really curious and          hoping that its not some doctors i know.          they’re creepy as hell. ” 

“depends on the person. i’ve seen people with wings who didn’t have them before, or those who are de-aged.” he explained, “other’s lose more memories or gain some back, it varies.” he explained, “his name is doctor hugo strange. anyone with that last name seems a bit bad to trust.”

As the other male spoke Bellamy quirked his thick eyebrows upward, with a expression of perplexity stretching itself across his face. He was’t sure if the other male was joking or being serious. “Magic?” The  question left Bellamy’s mouth in a tone of uncertainly with his dark hues keeping a hesitant glance on the other. If there was one thing Bellamy had learned from the grounders, it was not everyone is to be trusted but he was hungry,so for the moment he’d go along with it.“ Alright fine. Let’s go.” He mused in  a low tone. 

“it was arthur c. clarke who said ‘any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic’, which holds true to this place -- scintific explanations fall short, leading me to believe it is a magic or psuedomagic force that is at play.”
