          the scissors weren’t meant for him, they weren’t meant for anybody. but, they were the only thing keeping her from saying something she most DEFINITELY did not want to end up saying. she twirled them between nimble fingers once more before setting it on the metal shelf before her, and taking out the textbook she would need for her next class. closing her locker, her eyes finally meet his for the first time this morning.

          “ i’m not mad at you, beck, and you don’t need to think about anything. i’m fine. you can go to class. ”

     ‘PLEASE TELL ME that those scissors are meant for something … or someone else instead of me because at this point I have no clue what I did in order for you to be mad at me. its too early in the morning for that much thought. ’ he leans against the wall close to her locker, arms crossed over his chest as he genuinely started thinking about the things he did in the past twenty four hours that could have ticked her off.

         before his lips came into perfect contact with her neck, her entire hand is over the front of his face – stopping him. her eyes meet his and she’s shaking her head. “ have you FORGOTTEN that we’re in the hollywood arts parking lot? or do you just have no shame? ” she can’t help but grow a bit of a smirk onto her face.

         “ i’ll tell YOU when i’ve had enough, mr. ‘GOODHAIR.’ ” she’s slurring and spilling her cup everywhere. jade isn’t a sloppy drunk, usually, and she knew how to handle her alcohol —  yet, and for some untold reason at this party they were at, she was, and she was everywhere. her refusal to give beck her cup threw her into a fit of giggles, and if you knew jade, you knew this was not the norm for her.

             jade tried not to laugh too hard. this girl was really serious. “ i think i’d be MORE jealous of a brick of moldy cheese, but thanks! you keep trying, though. maybe one day you’ll be JUST as pretty as one. ”
