For my birthday this year I would appreciate it so much if people would donate to The Good Law Project's fundraiser to challenge the recent decision by the UK Supreme Court not to not include trans women in the 'definition of women' in the Equality Act. This ruling negatively effects all women leaving them vulnerable to assault, it will also negatively effect trans people, nonbinary people and intersex people. I always hoped I'd just have enough money to replace my own identity documents after my divorce. I just thought I'd be able to save up and have the right moment show up. It never did, and now Trump is deporting legal residents into slavery in El Salvador without due process.

I am a naturalized citizen, I just need to be able to prove it so I can update my ID to a Real ID and renew my American and Canadian passports.

hey y'all, i feel really bad about this, but i live in the southern usa and while things are alright-ish right now, the speed with which transphobia has escalated since 1/20 in the states has me trying to plan for a potential emergency move. i am especially anxious because, while i was fortunate enough to get my passport fixed up last year, restrictions on gender marker changes on licenses in my state mean that the two no longer match in that regard. however, moving before my lease ends in june could financially decimate me, especially if i don't have time to get a new job lined up, so i am trying to raise some funds.

i know there are a lot of people that need help right now, many much more so than me--but it would mean a lot if people could share and donate what they can. having a solid cushion would be ideal which is why the goal is a little high, but truly anything helps.

I hate to ask again but I was supposed to work overtime this weekend and was taken off the schedule last minute without being notified. I drove an hour to another location and was told when I arrived that I wasn’t needed. I used the lion’s share of my remaining money to cover gas for the trip and lost half of that driving back home. I have a high energy bill coming up. I was depending on the extra funds from overtime to cover this bill.

Because of the way my bills are set up I’m never in a position to pay my rent on time—some other vital utility would always end up unpaid—so I always save some money from my paychecks to gradually pay my rent plus a late fee by the end of the month. My energy bill is $221 and I would appreciate help being able to at least pay that, but I also am now left with less than $10 which I’ll need to use for gas and hope that it covers my work commute until I get paid by next Friday. I am very low on food would appreciate some extra to get some heat up meals and water until then but that’s not necessary. Please ONLY if you are able to help without causing trouble for yourself, I’d be grateful for donations on Vnmo/Cshapp @/$ moominhands.

I’ve included proof in my readmore below. I have been desperately searching for a higher paying job or even a second job for a while now to no avail. I have a degree and multiple references and it took me months to get this job that I can barely scrap by with. I recognize that I’ve asked a lot and there are people in more dire need than I am, but I live alone, have tapped every local/community resource available to me (single childless adult in a highly rural area), and I cannot ask my abusive family for help without some major consequence from them. I am so burnt out and this is going to mess up my budget and I am absolutely devastated and frustrated.

Islam, a 27-year-old physical therapist living in Gaza, is in desperate need of support. After their home was destroyed by Israeli bombings, he and his family of six, including his 85-year-old grandfather who lost a hand in a previous attack, have been left without shelter. They face a severe shortage of necessities like clean water and food. His grandfather, already struggling with daily tasks, cannot even wash his injured hand properly due to the lack of clean water.

With the harsh Gaza winter approaching fast, they urgently need protection from the cold and rain. Last winter, water flooded their tent, destroying everything inside. Islam fears the same will happen this year if they do not get help in time.

Though Islam has been trying to raise funds by sharing his story online, his blog has been restricted multiple times, and his posts aren't reaching enough people. He has created a GoFundMe page to help provide shelter, food, and water for his family, but donations have been very limited.

I am Tahrir from Gaza, a mother of four children. We have been suffering from the war for more than ten months. Every day is hell, suffering, tragedy, loss and deprivation. The war has taken everything from us, taken the most precious thinخg we own, and destroyed our homes.

I am talking to you now with a broken and wounded heart and I hope that I will find what I need with you. My little boy Amir suffered a fracture in the pelvic area and underwent surgery. He is now undergoing physical therapy and is in dire need of treatment.

My other child Khamis underwent surgery to remove his tonsils under very bad medical conditions. Unfortunately, we were displaced more than ten times, and every time we left everything behind and fled with only our lives. We suffered a lot in this war.
