Ok so here’s a pretty good story. So about three weeks ago I matched with my middle school crush. We get to talking and about an hour into our conversation I tell her that I crushed on her hard in middle school and she says the same, holy shit. We keep talking for about three hours after we match I ask her if she would wanna go out and catch up and she says yes. One of the things she told me a few days prior was that I had to meet her parents before we went out. Which was totally fine with me and I understand wanting your kid to be safe, even though she’s 20 and I think old enough to make her own judgement calls but hey maybe something happened to her in the past or something like that so I went with it.

As I looked into the mirror with no makeup on and my hair all messy I just thought to myself wow I look terrible. What guy could ever want this. Having short hair has made me so insecure about myself it makes me want to cry every night. I don't get the same looks from guys I used to when I has long beautiful blond hair. I feel like I need to do my eyebrows because I virtually have none. Same goes for my eyelashes they are so light it looks like I have none. I used to be so confident in myself and I'm not anymore and I hate myself for it.

I need to rant about this.

I can't believe I stayed with his so long. He treated me so badly and I didn't see. First he wouldn't stop trying to get his hand down my pants and I didn't want him to. Second we went to Yakima and al he wanted to do was make out when I had a paper due so I didn't want to. Their while in Yakima he kept trying to push alcohol on my to get my tipsy or drunk so he could do what ever. Fourth I needed to "deal with it" and suck it up and make out with him because you compromise in a relationship when I don't like doing that every time I see your face. Oh and heaven forbid we didn't do kinky shit because I don't want to. He could deal with it but it would be "hard". SUCH BULL SHIT. oh and then he tried to say I was over reacting about the whole deal with it shit and yeah I broke up with him on our four month and he's gone in New York without a phone thank god. I hate him so much and never realized how bad he made me feel. He took out everything on me even his mommy issues and she's a whole different story my god she's a demon. Either way I hate him and I hope I find someone who won't tell me that I'll look horrible if I cut my hair well fuck you because I did and I love it.

You aren’t a failure because you haven’t found fame and fortune by the age of 21. Hell, it’s okay if you don’t even know what your dream is yet. Even if you’re flipping burgers, waiting tables or answering phones today, you never know where you’ll end up tomorrow. Never tell yourself you’re too old to make it. 

Never tell yourself you missed your chance. 

Never tell yourself that you aren’t good enough. 

You can do it. Whatever it is.
