So I've had no exams (and if there was no pandemic I would've finished my exams by now anyways) so I've actually kind of missed studying lmao .. then I realised I've been slacking a lot on my French so I finally decided (after 2 months of quarantine) to start studying it again! I've started with verb practise and Quizlet french vocab; I hope I keep it up. Also, I've neglected my bullet journal for a really long time now, and with me trying to put some structure into my life I've finally found use for it again :)

black holes being the terrifying thing that they are and casually shattering all sense of man’s hubris whilst ALSO just outright REFUSING to be knowable is honestly just very iconic and sexy of them

knocking out some spanish notes on a saturday night since we're in a pandemic and there's nowhere to be and nothing to do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
today's action: i finished watching 13th today, and it really opened my eyes to new aspects and history of the us prison / criminal justice system. even if you think you have a good grip on these issues, you can definitely learn a lot from this. i really encourage all of you to watch it, it does a phenomenal job of presenting a lot of important yet tragic information on what black americans have faced and face today.

also celebrate George Floyd’s life. he was truly a beautiful, kind, and caring individual. i wish his family so much healing and that they get the justice they deserve.

25 May 2020 // my long-term goals spread before and after the pen
—☀️ i’m so excited about the future rn, and i consider it a miracle considering how depressed i was. i still get bouts of crippling anxiety and helplessness from time to time, because life’s still so unpredictable, but i’m coping so much better. there are things i’m looking forward to now. things that make me happy. it doesn’t seem like it when you’re at your lowest, but it does get better.

Here’s my first contender for new ways of setting up my week! I definitely like having the little full-month calendar, and I think that the overall weekly to-do list may grow on me. There’s not a huge amount of space to decorate, but there definitely is some, and I think I’m happy with it. Starting off strong.
For Latin, I’ve headed into the first week of slightly harder poems to read. Still enjoying it! And I’m definitely able to recognize a few more grammatical constructions than I was at first.
