Something I learned and that is really helpful for watching tv shows/movies: Don’t assume you won’t like/hate a character based on what you see in (eg. Instagram or tumblr) posts.

I hated so many characters just to love them when I actually started to watch their show/movie.

Don’t let anyone tell you who to love/hate, it takes the whole fun away.

hey y'all, im still experiencing really bad stomach pains and its really throwing me off my creative game. i do have a really angsty, evil schmico thing in the works and you have no idea how excited i am for it.

can y'all distract me by sending me your favourite schmico headcanons?? i’d love to see what you think! for example, think of this:

“You can come in.”

It’s unsure, like Levi isn’t entirely positive that Nico can, in fact, come in. Almost as if him doing so would blow Levi’s whole cover, his mother would know in an instant and he’d have to come out right there on the spot and Nico doesn’t know if he’s ready for that yet, so he starts to shake his head.

“I want you to! I really really want you to come inside. Please?”

Nico sighs, unbuckling his seatbelt slowly, keeping a weary eye on Levi as he does it. “I really do want to see that nerd thing you were telling me about at lunch…”

“It’s not a nerd thing,” Levi scoffs, scrabbling at his bag that’s tangled in his legs, “it’s a limited edition Pokémon Nintendo 64 console that my dad gave me for my birthday.”

“So…” Nico smirks, “a nerd thing?” His laughter follows Levi out of the car as he scrambles to join him, slightly more nervous than he was five minutes ago, but ready to meet his boyfriends mother for the first time none-the-less.

It’s a short walk to the door and Levi doesn’t stop to give him a pep talk before he bursts through the door and calls out a simple “I’m hooooome!” which is followed by a voice that‘s too muffled for Nico to understand, but Levi catches every word.

“Taryn didn’t work today, she caught that cold that was going around! Nico drove me.”

Levi’s shucked his jacket off and is walking down the wide hallway before Nico’s even halfway through untying his left shoe lace, he doesn’t wait for him, but he does smile at him as he disappears behind a wall.

He’s confident, Nico thinks, here on his own turf. He knows his house and his mom and he knows he has at least a semblance of control and he’s confident. Nico rushes through his second shoe and speed walks down to where he’d seen Levi turn, peeking his head around the corner, smiling nervously as a women almost half the size of himself looks up at him with wide, doe eyes. He knows immediately where Levi gets his kind soul from.

“Well?” She says, he hands coming her hips and her head tilting a little to the right. “Don’t be shy.” Her voice is raspy but light, a little heavy on some vowels and she’s got an accent Nico can’t quite place.

He shuffles into the kitchen, his sachet knocking against the doorframe as he does.

“This is Nico.” Levi smiles at him over her head and Nico melts a little at the sight of it.

He face is soft but not delicate, her lips are thinner than Levi’s and her hair is raven black, tumbling down around her shoulders in waves. She smiles up at him, her two front teeth sticking out just a little, like Levi’s, and her cheeks dimpling as she does so.

“Hi.”

“Huh,” she says, throwing her hair behind her back before reaching her arms out to pat a Nico’s chest, “I thought he’d be…buffer, with the way you described him.”

Nico feels the blush rising up his neck, darting his eyes over to Levi who’s already a as red as a tomato. “Sorry to disappoint,” he says, trying to fight the urge to scratch at the back of his head.

“Oh nonsense! You have a lovely body, I’m sure, but there’s barely any meat on you. You’re staying for dinner. I’ll fatten you right up.” She pats his biceps twice before turning to Levi. “You always bring home to underfed ones, honestly I’m starting to think you attract them. Look at him! He’s hard all over. Dünn dünn dünn.”

Nico lowered his gaze, staring at a faded stick figure that was drawn on one of the tiles by the counter, wondering vaguely what language she was speaking, and if Levi was bilingual too. “I’m quite happy with my body, to be honest.”

“Good,” she said, “be honest. I’m still feeding you. Winziges kleines Ding.”

They made it to the basement without much more fuss, Nico’s eyes flittering around at everything he passed, Levi dashing about the living room as they passed it to find a spare controller.

“She won’t let you leave until you eat,” he’d explained, “so I’m kicking your ass at Mario Kart.”

Once they’d cleared the last step down, and Levi had effectively pulled Nico’s sweater over his head because it really was quite hot down there, Levi had affectionately ran his hands down over Nico’s arms, caressing at his elbows and then sliding down a little more to grasp both of his hands. “I’m quite happy with your body too,” he’d whispered, stepping in closer and smiling up through this lashes, “I love every single thing about you.”

Nico huffed, fighting a smile and trying to get Levi’s hands untangled from him own so he could pull him in closer. “She’s…”

“Jewish.” Levi said, as if that explained it all. “And don’t worry about her fattening you up, it’s me she’s after. I’ve always been to skinny for her likings, and I mean, has she not seen my belly? I’ve got squishy bits.”

“I love your squishy bits.”

“They’ll never be enough for her.” He shook his head fondly, pretending to be sad about it. “I try so hard to be the chubby son she always wanted.”

Levi let go of his hands, reaching up to link his own around Nico’s neck.

“They’re enough for me.”

Levi giggled, bouncing a little before leaning in for a kiss. “I know…and I also know I’m about to destroy you. Dibs on Princess Peach.”

Levi, unsurprisingly to Nico, destroys him in Mario Kart, always ready and able to deal with anything Nico tried to send his way.

They were called for dinner an hour later, but Levi pulled Nico back down to the couch to kiss him one last time before they went up.

“Aren’t you worried she’s going to come looking for us?”

“No. She’s only calling so I’ll set the table.” Levi pulled back to nibble at a fingernail. “And I’m not hiding you. You know that, right? She- she knows there’s someone and she knows that I’m happy, she just…doesn’t know I’m gay yet.”

Nico smiled, pushing his hands up under Levi’s shirt to squeeze his waist. “I don’t want to rush you. I want this to be at your own pace, lord knows my coming out wasn’t at mine, but I really really wish I could go up there and have her retell all your embarrassing stories and all the fun stuff that comes with meeting the parents.”

The hands around Levi’s waist snaked up to rest against his ribs. “I know, Hunkster, me too. I’m ready, I’m just-“ Levi sighed, “I’m not sure she is.”

“Take your time,” Nico murmured, leaning in to run his teeth along Levi’s jaw, tightening his hands at the drag from the stubble. “Now let’s go set the table like the gentlemen we are.”

The stray kitten that Nico fed some jam to in a park that followed him home

- is white with grey ears and one blue eye, a ragdoll x Sphynx mix

- barely has any fur so Nico is constantly putting turtle neck sweaters on her

- the sweaters are medium dog sized bc she’s fat fat fat

- she’s missing her left eye

- she was abandoned bc of the infection that took her eye. Nico only kept her bc be spent so much money on vet bills to keep her alive. He never wanted a cat before her.

- she followed him home bc he wasn’t like the kids that thew things at her and she feels safest when he’s at home bc nobody can hurt her when her tall hairless friend is there

- she will eat ANYTHING that she can get her paws on.

- anything. Nico had to invest in a breadbox to keep his lunch rolls safe…she figure out how to open it within an hour.

- Nico tried to name her Moonshine but she would only answer to Kitty, so he deemed her Kitty Kim

- Nico broke up with the first boyfriend he ever lived with bc Kitty Kim caught him cheating, attacked to guy he was cheating with, and then proceeded to accidentally set the apartment’s home security system off which sent an alert to Nico’s phone which was how he caught them.

- most people are scared of her bc of her missing eye and the scars on her face and the fact that she looks like a gremlin, but Levi warmed right up to her before he’d made it all the way through the door. There’s something about an overweight cat with one eye pounding towards Nico as he’s coming home that just melts Levi’s heart into a giant puddle.

- she sniffs Levi once and immediately demands he feed her. He complies.

- when Levi leaves without saying goodbye to her, Nico has to FaceTime him so she can hear his voice and know he’s okay and will be returning to her soon.

- Nico decides he wants to rescue another kitten to keep her company while he’s working but Kitty Kim immediately gets jealous and possessive of both her humans and they have to give her extra love and affection before she’s let into the same room as her new sibling.

- she sleeps on a pillow that she carries to wherever she wants to be in the apartment.

- it says “Welcome to the Shit Show” in carnival font and was a gift from Nico’s ex’s mother that he tried to throw out after the breakup but evidently did not, bc Kitty Kim gets what she wants.

- she knows she Nico needs to recharge and she will let him touch her pillow only in those moments. That’s love, bitches.

- if Levi’s playing video games, Kitty Kim is howling for attention from Nico.

- she’s literally the Loml.

50 schmico please!

50. Buying them a special treat when you go out shopping.

“What’s this?”

Nico looks up from the bag of groceries he’s unpacking, sets the bag of black beans on the counter. “Just something I picked up.”

Levi holds the bag of Doritios up almost accusingly. “This is junk food.” He shakes it a little. “You bought junk food.”

“It’s the kind you like, right?” Nico keeps his face carefully blank, his tone casual. “The dark green bag?”

“The salsa verde, yes,” Levi agrees. “Nico Kim, you brought junk food into your apartment.” 

Nico rolls his eyes, goes back to unpacking his grocery bag. A few seconds later, Levi smacks him on the arm. When Nico looks over again, he’s holding a small tin can of jalapeño cheddar cheese dip. 

“What is this?”

Nico grins, leans down and pecks Levi’s mouth. “You’re always complaining that I don’t have good snacks.”

“So?”

“So…” Nico kisses him again. “I bought a case of Mountain Dew, too.”

“Who are you?” Levi demands. “Junk food and stomach rotting sugar drinks? In your apartment?” His eyes narrow. “Okay, I know it’s mostly paranoia because we just watched The Faculty, but… Have you been taken over by an alien recently? Nico Kim, were you body snatched?”

Nico laughs, leans down to kiss Levi one more time. “Just enjoy it. But, uh, don’t get used to it.”

We deserve a fic where Nico is angry about something and everyone is on edge and looks to Levi for help. AANNNDDD Levi dragging Nico from the nursing station to an oncall room when he has a tantrum.

P.s. if you wanna you could skip to the end where Levi walks out wiping his mouth and mouths to linc or someone else “you’re welcome” and a smiley Nico following behind.

Is Alex Landi casted in the episode? 😀

So we were promised Nico development I think the only episode that would make sense is this Thursday's episode considering that Nico won't be present for the next 2 episodes. Also given that link will be busy with Amelia it might give Nico some time to shine on his own and maybe Levi to finally find a specialty he is passionate about.

Can you believe Nico “fellowship year” Kim and Levi “no filter” Schmitt are in love? Like wow.

It is like WOW.

I need to know what was going on in Nico’s head. What did he see in Levi when he first saw him. He literally spoke no words and made no eye contact with Levi before he decided in the middle of a freaking surgery that “Yo, imma make dat disaster boy mine” and bust out a heart stopping body debilitating wink. And afterwards, it was like Nico was testing the waters, like a too-late after thought. And he wasn’t overly pushy about it either. It was very careful. It wasn’t, “I’m going to buy this man a drink and then relentlessly flirt with him” It was, “I’m going to buy this man a drink and LEAVE and hope the stars align again.”

So NO sometimes I can’t believe it worked and they’re so in love because they almost completely missed each other what with Levi not picking up on Nico’s cues and being confused about his own sexuality and Nico literally rejecting Levi after such a revelation (for both of them, really) and now that I’m typing this out, of course it takes a damn windstorm that almost kills them to bring them together.

So we have Nico’s dumb bitch energy and Levi who probably trips on air at least once a week. What a power couple 💕💕💕

Established Schmico. Levi throwing himself into his studying and work shifts because he wants to improve himself but he doesn’t realize while doing that, he’s neglecting his health. (Barely sleeping, forgetting to eat, etc!)

For a while Nico would leave it alone. He’s been there before. He knows how hard you have to work and he knows that Levi will panic even more if he intervened.

So he leaves it for a while. He just watches his boyfriend and tries to get a decent meal in him whenever he can.

Until he starts to notice physical changes. Like then bags under Levi’s eyes have gotten so much darker or the spring in his step was pretty much gone. When Nico removes Levi’s shirt during a makeout session, he can feel his boyfriend’s ribs.

Again he tries to subtly look after him. Suggest that he comes to bed with him and offer to make dinner.

He’s so worried about Levi but he also knows that he doesn’t do well with being coddled. And he doesn’t want to risk Levi pushing him away.

Until one night when Levi all but stumbles into the apartment and then pretty much collapses into Nico’s chest.

Then he’s done with it.

He calls in sick for Levi and himself the next day. Then he gets Levi to sit down and actaully eat something more nutritious than a cup of coffee.

When they go bed they might, he brings Levi into his chest and holds him there.

Nico loves his little disaster human and he couldn’t stand the thought of something happening to him. So he’s gonna watch out for Levi.

And he’s gonna call in sick for Levi if need be.
