So Qrow’s miniature story reveals two critical things: 

A. Summer was on that last mission alone 

B. No one knows what happened to her.

EXCEPT the one person in the world who knows if she’s truly dead or not.

the death of summer / her awakening .

SUMMER ROSE WAS THE SPRING MAIDEN.     when she was killed, raven was there. raven was there, the moment she died. the moment the life left her eyes, bright silver faded to dull gray. raven was the last person on summer’s mind as she passed, thus making her the next spring maiden.  they would put her back together. piece by piece.

ten years passed until she was finally fully stable, enough to be able to live like she had once before. yet she was kept in a medically induced coma, somewhere safe, where no one outside of ozpin’s inner circle was allowed to know of her existence. one day, she would awaken.  then, the night came where ozpin would discover another girl with piercing silver eyes. summer encouraged her young daughter to do what would make her happy, but deep down she hoped she would not follow in her footsteps. it was a life full of constant danger. she didn’t want her daughter dragged in to this life she lived. she didn’t want her risking her life. ruby was her greatest gift. 

she never wanted this.

when she awoke it wasn’t to ozpin’s smiling face, no, it was the lifepod she’d rested in for the last decade losing power. at first, she felt nothing, then, pain shooting up her arms and down her legs. she tried to move, but couldn’t find the strength to. she cried out but no sound left her lips. her throat was dry. 

then, a blinding light.

she felt herself be taken out of the metal bed, felt the needle being ripped from her arm. she was trying so hard to process all of what was going on, yet she couldn’t focus; she was falling in and out of consciousness. 

the next year or so she would reside in an atlesian hospital, being looked after by several nurses and doctors. in her mind, she pieced together that she had been in some sort of accident, raven was there, and now she was in the hospital recovering. she would spend the next several months going through physical therapy, speech therapy, re-learning how to eat on her own, etc. 

and she was left to wonder what had happened, that would leave her in this state. 

there were many holes in her memory, and it almost hurt to try and piece it all back together. she remembered ruby, qrow, tai, yang, and most of her past; it was more recent events she had trouble recalling, funny enough. 

she decided that, whenever ozpin decided to visit, she would ask him. 

so she would wait.

Im definitely gonna bring the tiniest bit of life to this blog, but I also kinda wanna have a blog for one of my ocs? im not really sure yet. But, ive had that oc for over three years now and im itchin to do some more with her.
