It’s never constant, it’s a tsunami.
The water will be still and calm, I will be floating, peacefully, silently
And then it comes. The wave that takes me twenty feet under water, every direction I look is more water.. there is never any relief. Until suddenly it is gone. Until your hand is on my shoulder, almost as if it is a silent reminder that I am not alone.
But the moment you’re gone, the moment your hand is no longer placed gingerly on my shoulder, the wave is back, taking me deeper under the water.
There is never any relief until you are with me. Like a saving grace sent from Posideon.
